Hope Havertz is the false 9 and not one od the more supporting roles because if its Pepe and the other CB up against Werner it will be a disaster.

two very good goals. should have scored more with the azpi header and the pulisic shot but overall good result. weren't threatened much.porto jsut like atletico only were piss poor cheaters and divers

That is why Chilwell>Alonso. The latter could not have scored that goal to save his life with his turtle pace. Chilwell just breezed past them all.

Imagine we would have gone for jadon sancho instead of havertz and  werner.... well you never know. But what we need is a nimble, fast attacker who also has this little bit of bulk and low centre of g

tonight is so important as we are away

next time, at same stadium we are home

the whole thing is stupid

Theyre going to score first at this rate. Their approach seems to be a lot less fucking about in the final third, once they get there they want to make an impact.

It is BS. huge advantage for porto bc they can score away goals in the 2nd leg and have 120mins if needed to do so.

2nd huge advantage is that porto have the way shorter flight.

You see what Kroos and Modric did yesterday in midfield and you see what Jorginho and Kovacic do in midfield. Night and day.

well, in Kroos and Modric you are talking two of the top 15 (maybe 10) MFers in the past quarter century

We've had three years of their mediocre dross, yet a lot of fans still rate them???

Going nowhere as a team for as long as those two are in it!

The sad part is you can see several Chels players making the runs, quite good runs but they are completely ignored or the pass is just piss poor.

and we dodged a massive bullet with Sérgio Oliveira being out

19 goals, 7 assists as a CMF

They are so fucking allergic to playing balls over the top. Look up, THERE ARE RUNNERS UPFRONT! THERE IS SPACE!!

Not having one of Ziyech, Pulisic or Hudson-Odoi in the starting 11 is a big mistake. Not going to break these lot down with what we have out there. Everything is to feet and nobody out there is going to beat men in 1 v 1s to create space or draw people out of positions.
