You don't always need creative players.

Direct passing FORWARDS can take out defences just as much as creativity.

 

Edit: I'm talking basic forwards passing, one, two touch stuff. Keep the defenders moving backwards and space opens up.

Giroud needs to be subbed off at HT. 

And I'll keep saying it, Werner has looked better once again. Looking much more confident playing in a more natural position, despite the goal drought.

The first 20 were horrendous but since then we've been fine bar maybe should have created more.

SHU are tougher then their position suggests, the runaway leaders had to work hard for a 1-0 against them twice.

I think this system will work as we want. Just need to play mount where jorginho is and then get pulisic or ziyech in there so our midfield 2 is dynamic with the creativity. But giroud doesn't fit this system as even when we are getting pressed we still don't just lump it to him.

Fantastic goal. Undeserved lead but we'll take it. Nice to see Mount being clinical in the box, he will do well to keep his place in the England team ahead of Foden and Grealish.

This is what makes me question him.

We done this to death previously.

Jorginho doesn't work in the EPL. He might work in Italy, but not here.
