Kai Havertz

Honigstein always comes across as bitter when top players leave Bundesliga for England.  He always tries to shoot the rumours down or speak negative about them.  But a top player linked to Bundesliga from England, he's all positive and says he can see it happening

Seems to me he is a little out of the loop on this Havertz deal.

He does not like Chelsea. Maybe that is why he does not want Bundesliga players go to a Chelsea

TBF, every journalist seems to be biased towards their own league/country. It's like how English journalists tend to look down at other leagues.

Maybe it's not his job to be keeping track of all the transfer stories going about...

According to BILD sources, Chelsea will contact Bayer Leverkusen bosses in the next few days to make the mega-deal perfect. The total fee for Kai Havertz will be around €70m as an immediate payment + €30m in performance related bonuses.

good offer,,we can give add on €20m for PL winner + €10m for POTY...

But you don't know what he does, do you?

Besides, things can change quickly in football. Remember the Werner transfer? It went from him looking dead set to join to Liverpool to suddenly us jumping in and signing him.

And I find this sort of criticism of journalists somewhat ironic. We want the club to move fast and act quickly to sign players but people are criticizing journalists just because they aren't providing an update on every move...

Havertz can be cute here, sitting them down, explaining he will play EL final but also get an agreement with Chelsea on the basis of what he has done and given to Leverkusen.

Putting full emphasis on getting a deal with us as quickly as possible.

Exactly, he can promise them he'll play in the Europa League for them, but they must allow him put pen to paper for Chelsea and complete the deal.
