you do realize this is the largest transfer in chelsea history right? somewhere around €100M, that is a huge amount of money to spend for any club so naturally you would take your time to get the best deal, and yes, often times that means meeting to negotiate every week for several weeks on the bounce... That’s how business involving such large sums is conducted, diligently and patiently...

calling it “ridiculous” is a very naive way to see it...

So basically confirmed that   he is close to leave the club .
