It's like how English journalists tend to look down at other leagues. 11 minutes ago, ChelseaFanUK said: Seems to me he is a little out of the loop on this Havertz deal. Maybe it's not his job to be keeping track of all the transfer stories going about... The total fee for Kai Havertz will be around €70m as an immediate payment + €30m in performance related bonuses. shrenshah and Dimitr

Remember the Werner transfer? It went from him looking dead set to join to Liverpool to suddenly us jumping in and signing him. And I find this sort of criticism of journalists somewhat ironic. We want the club to move fast and act quickly to sign players but people are criticizing journalists just because they aren't providing an update on every move... Special Juan 28,141
Havertz can be cute here, sitting them down, explaining he will play EL final but also get an agreement with Chelsea on the basis of what he has done and given to Leverkusen. Putting full emphasis on getting a deal with us as quickly as possible. kellzfresh, Dimitr and Vesper

Exactly, he can promise them he'll play in the Europa League for them, but they must allow him put pen to paper for Chelsea and complete the deal.
