Slowness especially of movement is the only characteristic they share, but strangely enough it's what everybody talks about.

I say the last year, Malouda was not in the plan of RDM, but he insisted to stay!

Now Mikel's current status is similar to him. Most Chelsea fans knows that Mikel (and Ivanovic) are slow, they can't fit Conte's plan!

Keeping Ivanovic and Mikel (both have longer serving years in Chelsea but crappy) had bad effect!

Conte will receive invisible pressure.

If both are still in the first team, it means no more new non-homegrown players to join. Survival of Mikel will trigger Matic to leave!

Both of them are too slow and irreversible crappy. They must not fit Conte's plan!

Both are vice-captain level players (due to their longer serving years!), it make Conte in dilemma. If Conte always keeps them in the bench, no one will guarantee Conte will be the next AVB ~ senior players leading other teammates to boycott AVB. If Conte uses them, Chelsea FC will struggle!
