If we are aspiring to be much higher in the table next season and challenge on all fronts the last thing we want is Mikel in that team. Right now he's starting because Matic's arse fell out this season and Hiddink didn't have anyone else to turn too, plus Mikel is an average player in an average side. Like Ivanovic he's been a good servant, but that in no way should stand in the way and both for me should sent packing because this team needs new blood with immediate effect.

matic previously performed at a top level for 1.5 seasons. we need to start with those who have never been good for chelsea. (oscar , cahill, pedro), before looking at those who used to be good.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. 

 

His fall from grace this year has been one of the main reasons we are where we are. He isn't alone though, and you are right Oscar needs to be out.

The fact he was used again when Guus came in says a lot....we fell short in this area because of two things....Matic been completely rubbish and our penny pinching last summer.

He wouldn't get in any other team above us.

Simply needs to be shipped in the summer, decent player but just so slow and has an unhealthy habit of not tracking runs. We need more strength, pace and legs in the middle of the park, he's the complete opposite.
