iseah100 5,612
I think Didi will offer what Eto'o did last year. He'll score 8-10 goals and be a good role player. And it's the KING!!!!
The Mak 4,459
Nice strawman. I never said anything like that nor do I think for a second that Costa won't start. Too much does not equate to starting ahead of Costa regularly. Too much means playing more than about 15-20 games total all season. I do not see Didier starting an abnormal amount of games unless Costa gets injured around a particularly hectic time of the season.I also do not believe José is as sentimental as you would make it. He is a winner above all else and will always do what he thinks will help us win a game, or improve the squad (e.g. replacing Cole, Lamps and, probably this season, Cech). seanptmiller and Tomo
didierforever 7,349
Yeah i understand but for me it looks like Mourinho is scared of failing and that does not help the guys upfront. If i was Lukaku now i would think in my mind "This manager doesn't trust me"On a bright note i hope Torres will leave now that he is 4th option in attack.IF (and thats a massive IF) lukaku actually sits down and "THINKS" then he should understand that this signing is FOR HIM. to teach him, to make him one of the best. no other reason to buy DD when we could have bought bony/remy for lukaku's competition but to give him a real chance while also securing us with experience. ofcourse, jose is scared of failing. who is not? right now its essential that we win the PL to pacify roman and his trust!!! its for chelsea's sake and for jose's sake.torres leaving will be the cherry on top. sherry33
Starman60 1,343
You realise he is getting paid each week doing mostly nothing on the field. If he was brought back at Chelsea to learn Lukaku and Costa how to be Champions League winners than he should of received a spot in the staff not in our squad.I see people say he offers somthing different to the other strikers we have. Am i missing somthing? He is bloody 36 and is a shadow of the striker he was in 2012.On a second note we look like shit in the eyes of other clubs now that we brought him back after 2 years..How the f#@k do we look like shit in the eyes of other clubs?? He will play in matches in the League cup with a lot of the youngsters, to show them how it's done. The guy is a shrewd signing and his experience is worth a yaerd of pace. You should hold your scathing words on a true legend until the end of the season and his contract..............And I really hope you have to eat them

Popular Post! The_Flash 1,144 Posted July 25, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 25, 2014 I CAN'T BELIEVE IT I kept reading it on the news that it was rumoured but until i saw it on the Chelsea website I wouldnt believe it.I got a text but then quickly went online and there it is front of the website Drogba signs. This is fantastic news, wonderful. If we had Drogba last season we would have easily won the league. I can't wait to see him back. I have to admit I cried when he was back with Galatasary, I am so thrilled he is back. I really didn't think it was going to happen. HD3D 1,038
We have 4 strikers for 1 spot and only one of them is realistic a real threat to our opposition. At the VERY LEAST, Drogba will be just as good as Etoo was this season. That's a very good second choice to have if things are not going well with Costa or if he gets injured.

I find it pretty funny he was mouthing off against Jose, saying so many european teams are after him, he will be playing in the CL, rumoured going to QPR, when were they in CL?? lolDrogba is a different class, always will be. MrBlueGuy 1,552
As a side effect no one notices that this now means the end of Chelsea career for Lukaku or Torres. If it is Torres I am fine but if Lukaku is sold just so Jose can get Drogba back then I think we might have a problem, especially if we plan to replace Lukaku with Drogba for a couple of years. That's a very good second choice to have if things are not going well with Costa or if he gets injured. If Costa doesn't have a great season and we finish 2nd/3rd again without winning a major trophy Jose will get sacked by Roman again. I doubt Jose would bring Droba back just to be safe that if Costa doesn't work out he will call on Drogba. If anything we should have signed Mandzukic instead and if Jose wanted we would have got him too.
Popular Post! Special Juan 28,141 Posted July 25, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted July 25, 2014 Two years ago he hit that penalty that settled it, today he is a legend, he will always be a legend no matter what. This guy is us, he is Chelsea, he can do a job, he can give us something and he can give other players an edge.I've told my 8 year old boy what happening tonight, he was 6 when Didier struck that penalty and his reaction was amazing……He has just spent the last 2 hours in the garden rein acting his penalty from the CL final and being him.He hasn't just hit our hearts but he has also reached hearts of kids. :blue scalf: CHOULO19, Chelsea Legend 11, kellzfresh and 8 others
