silviupastean 135
RUMOUR - DROGBA BACK TO THE BRIDGE?Chelsea are set to offer former striker Didier Drogba a player-coach role at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are keen to lure the Ivorian back to west London with the club confident he can play for three more years, says the Daily Mirror. What a story that would be - Jose and Didier forever....i know it's just a rumour. but maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea, if we don't get rooney or another striker

BlueLion. 21,491
This doesn't need a new topic, so I've merged it with the existing Drogba thread.
jan 14
that would be great for the development off lukakuif he's beeing teached by he's idol and second father like he calls himand mourinho.give the boy 2 or 3 more years then and lukaku would be a very good striker then and fierced by every defense

Buffalo talks Blue 85
So, is this player-coach thing about Didi on progress or is it just a mere rumor?

Beirut_Blues 306
As Alex said, having Drogba back as a player would only ruin the fairy tale..Imagine watching "Beauty & the Beast" only to see a big FUKK YOU written at the end instead of "the end". yuvala and BlueLion.
BlueLion. 21,491
^ brilliant post. His ever-lasting image here is one of being an absolute footballing hero. You can't make that sort of stuff up, it literally is the thing dreams are made of.Coming back here and being a shadow of what he was in Munich will ruin that romantic image. His first comeback was epic. He should have stayed retired after the Jazz games, but he came back again.....Likewise Drogba, needs to stay away. Sorry, but no matter how much we like him the way the left was epic.Leave it like that for the history books!
Muslera 10
Playing a friendly against Malaga. First half over. 2:1 for Galatasaray, with Sneijder and Drogba scoring for us, Santa Cruz scoring for Malaga.http://www.firstrowsports.bz/ Second GS v Malaga link is quite good for anyone who wants to match. Blue Armour 4,443
He could come back as a coach, not player-coach. That won't feel right. Blue Roar
