Waterfall 893
I am probably going to get bashed for this, but at times he actually did seem bigger than the club, and I say that with the greatest respect to both him and the club. What a legend

BleedsBlue 1,549
I'm crying Fucking hell. What a player. What a man. Our best since Osgood. I can't imagine us without him.Let's just hope for your sake that Kalou doesn't confirm his exit as well.
Superblue 6,372
If the club has the fans interests at heart they should arrange a farewell game for Drogba, similar to they did for Zola, to allow us to say goodbye and give him the send off he deserves. The proceeds of the match could also go to his charity foundation. This is the best decision for all parties. The club must look to the future and Drogba could not have a better last kick of the ball in his Chelsea career, nobody ever could. It was meant to be. CHOULO19 24,332
Well, that's it. He'll take his place amongst the club's past legends. I very much doubt his success will ever be replicated with the club. Nor will his place in the Chelsea faithfuls' hearts.
Slam Dunk 1,442
A tough decision, i'm sure, but the correct one. As I said in another thread, it wouldn't be fitting for a character such as Drogba's to leave the club on a whimper, he needs to go out with a bang. As they say, 'Always leave them wanting more'.Thank you for everything, Didier.

It would be truly Romantic if Drogba's actual and absolute last touch of the ball as a Chelsea player literally won us the UCL. I wouldn't mind too much if their wasn't a testimonial simply because he could not have gone out on a higher note than what he has. Drogzola 283
Cheers Big man, as a South African I can definitely confirm that the man has a huge following here and has gained a huge amount of fans from South Africa for Chelsea. Always remembered never forgotten.
