I agree with Kez tbh. I'm utterly disappointed in Joe Cole. I think this is something to take note, that Chelsea players like him are too greedy because we seem to be a rich club, and that we are being taken advantage of by being demanded an increase in wages so we can be on the same level as the likes of JT and Ballack.

I really hope this Cole-Benayoun nightmare doesn't come true! :mouthclosed:

Joe cole can leave if he wants i don't think we need him anymore, he is too inconsistent and he slows play down. We have a younger faster more promising version of a joe cole type of player in our squad. Kakuta will take his place next season !

I've always liked Joe Cole, but he's went right down in my estimation.

His contract demands werent met imo as he wasnt in top form and the offer put to him mirrored his performances of late. He could have even tried to agree on an extension with a view to an increase if his performances improved. His love for Chelsea obviously wasnt as strong as he claimed it was.

not really, it's time to progress and improve.

I really think he is scared of kakuta taking his place, in that interview when he said kakuta will make Chelsea fans very happy he looked like he seen a ghost.

I hope people aren't forgetting this is JUST a rumour for now, there's no back up to this claim by talkSport.

Let's not forget there are continuous rumours where Joe Cole is going: Totteham, ManUtd, ManCity, West Ham & yes Arsenal.

We shouldn't be so quick to rule out the possibility for him signing a new deal with Chelsea, he has xpressed a desire to stay before (right?). Carlo is still confident Joe Cole will pen a new deal, and I'll still believe him until someone from Chelsea or Cole himself tell us his decision.

I don't blame you, but I wouldn't go that far as to hope he leaves xD. Let's not forget Joe Cole was our player of the season in 2008, for good reason too, his skills on the pitch, his attitude, team work and ability to score goals is the prime reason we want to keep hold of him.
