Players can only do A, B, C but can't do D, E, F. Under Lampard, the players seem to have the license to express themselves and we're also playing a lot quicker than before, hence we're seeing the players enjoying themselves out there (although some times too much!). Bosnian Blue and kellzfresh

Sarri tried to go all in on the aesthetics initially and we ended up with that mess of a game against Arsenal. While Lampard has done extraordinarily well so far, I think he was given a much solider foundation for his footy than if he took over from Conte. Looking back us and Sarri were the perfect marriage of convience, we got a man/fall guy to start the process of changing our style of play while he got his buffer to Juve. kellzfresh, OneMoSalah, !Hazard! and 2 others

But did it have to be so restrictive till the point our football was dreadful, boring to watch? Was only when Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi came in that we got slightly more entertaining because they provided something different from all the silly, endless passing. kellzfresh

Popular Post! 1905didierblue 748 Posted November 2, 2019 Popular Post! Share Posted November 2, 2019 I did not like him one bit. His last season was poor. So was his RM time. But man, he has been brilliant so far. When Kante got injured post the super cup, I was fucking shit my pants. But the way kova has taken his chance. He has been a joy to watch. The way he plays the ball out and can carry it the length of the field. Now if he can add 5 goals and 5 assists, I don't think there will be a better thing. Well done kova, keep it up Ryan Fong, Supermonkey92, Tautvix and 2 others

If Kante comes back I think we will manage. Kovacic maybe have to take the mantle a bit and not burst forward as much and dictate the game like Jorginho does. I dont think he cant do it in all fairness, he has got a good passing range and understanding so he should be able to continue on his performances and maybe just be a bit more conservative with his role next week, allowing Kante to be a bit more free to get between the boxes. Stats 7,142
Was sensational today. Controlled that game. His close-ball control and ability to maneuver out of tight spaces is amazing. OhForAGreavsie
