MoroccanBlue 5,382
He is quality in my opinion, but he genuinely doesn't look arsed anymore? Going with the motions and plays with zero urgency. A player wanting out. We can add him to the list than.

He’ll get back to his best/reach his potential at some point in his career. However I don’t want it to be upto us to get that out of him, to either wait for him to build his confidence up and also have an injury free period. When he isn’t good he’s anonymous. Same! We seriously need a new LB at this rate, especially when we have wasted subs a few times this season because the LB - be it Alonso or Emerson - has been rubbish. killer1257
Milan 17,958
The boss praises his assistants Jody Morris and Joe Edwards for their faith in Tariq Lamptey when considering our full-back options with Azpi carrying a knock and James and Alonso out. He says he has seen Lamptey train a lot and he adds a different dimension. #ARSCHE Â

1905didierblue 748
What the fuck is on with him. He looked like a good enough player and has suddenly turned into bakayoko playing the full back position. killer1257

Ive always had my doubts but was prepared to wait until he had regular game time in league and CL. Now he's got that, I can't honestly think of a stand out attribute he has, he may aswell change him name to John Doe when he's on the pitch. communicate

ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Think he wants out and/or knows he is off.  I dont mind him but lately he has been so poor. I am not a huge Alonso fan either and think LB is crying out for strengthening. And no, not Ian Maatsen OhForAGreavsie

I watched him his debut for city, pep pretty much designed his left side to cater to Mendy. He was a monster. He had too many long injuries in short time. killer1257

Say what you like about Marcos and god knows he's frustrating as fuck, but atleast he has an upside of some substance even if we only see it about 20% of the time. Emerson may aswell change his name to John Doe while on the pitch, plain and ordinary is an understatement. So many weaknesses but, for me, the worst is how closed he is when receiving an out ball. With such body shape there is only one way the ball is going next; back in the direction it came from. Vesper, Tomo and Superblue

Either a man of sense or a communications department that's really on the ball. If the latter then I don't care if that communication department works at CFC or with his agent. Yep, having the sense to listen to advice, and the judgement to know when to do it, is a leadership quality. When your job is to make decisions, it's not unreasonable to get the credit for making good ones, even if the idea was not yours.
