OneMoSalah 8,886
Think hes improved the last few games, like mentioned he seems to be staying on his feet a bit more and his link up play at times is impressive. Finishing maybe could still do with some work but I think the physical demands and no winter break this season will be better for him for next season. Hopefully we give him another chance, hes a different style of striker to Drogba and Costa, which in any way is hard acts to follow for different reasons and I think he'll be a bigger success next season for definite. I can't imagine the club would offload him for a loss like its being reported in the media, its so clear there is a very good footballer in him, its just maybe been a bit of a contrasting season from his first half and second half of the season but its been like that for a lot of the players. Blue Armour 4,439
Think he's still working back to the player he was. Especially before the winter break...was very deadly when he first started playing for us. As a young player, I think he still deserves more than a second chance. Just need to see how confident he was playing in the first game against Utd: Heck even Bakayoko was playing so well back then.

Let's cut that young player crap, he's 25 and still searching for his feet so to speak. He needs to do something with his career fast or he'll forever be just a potential. Jase 43,479
For all his troubles this season, worth mentioning that he has contributed 17 goals in all competitions this season (11 goals, 6 assists). That's way more than anyone else in the team, which I suppose doesn't say much given the squad's average-ness, but for someone in his first season in English football, that's a decent return. I meant someone who still doesn't have much experience of leading the line as first choice striker. Plus, at 25 there is still every chance of improvement. You can't say he's at his peak. BlueLyon 9,359
Its funny he was prefered in national team ahead of Costa, despite being sub all this time. Now that he is ''starter'', he plays so bad that he got dropped from NT. We realy know how to minimize the potential and ability of the players, dont we. You can score 5 goals in one game for example and be shite for most of the season. Morata hasn't shown he is good enough for the PL. Yesterday proved it even further. If he plays in the FA Cup semis, expect the same result of him getting bullied by Yoshida. I'll give Morata one more season, but we need another CF badly this summer. I don't want to put my eggs all in one basket for a guy who had only one good season 3 years ago. He's 25 now, he isn't young and raw anymore. Totally agree. He isn't good enough to play the lone striker role. I think he would suit a two up top system in all honesty.

Special Juan 28,141
Luckily for him Giroud is recognized as a sub, yet Giroud has so much more to offer than this middle of the road performer. Start Giroud at Wembley please. bigbluewillie

Thor 2,704
Morata is more than good enough. Slagging him off when the whole team was playing like garbage isn't fair. Giroud comes on and Conte changes the whole formation and tactics to a far more attacking one... Of course we're going to produce more chances. Giroud is a great sub, but saying he is better than Morata is a joke. Just because our manager can't set up properly, don't take it out on the players. El P. 1,354
He is fucked up. He is not the best striker, but every solid striker would score chances like those. Difference is - he is fucked up. His head is, and always was messed up. Blusan Alamb
