Tiemoue Bakayoko

you guys need to interpret "club talk" :D

Translation, "we want to sell both, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about them. However, we don't want to sell at a discount price, so if you want them, and can pay full ask, we'd definitely sell either to you." ;)

Bakayoko cannot play for chelsea. If he does, in such an important position, we cannot compete against the other top clubs. He's just not good enough skill wise to play at this level. It's sad and we've spent a lot on him, but it's not going to change.

If he doesn't start and sits on the bench for another season, his value will only decrease, which doesn't make sense either. So, while I agree that it all depends on the new manager, the club better try to move him either way. Honestly, RLC should be way ahead of Bakayoko on skill alone.

BTW, Morata and Bakayoko aren't comparable IMO (for obvious reasons).

Is Bakayoko really any better than Josh McEachran? Ramires? Oscar? Mikel? Chalobah? RCL? Let alone KDB? Mata? Matic? The list is endless and the answer is NO.

The boards decision making is embarrassing.

The reason Chelsea sign Baka cause he was good player last season for Monaco some players coming from different league struggle with the pace Of The PL  I think that's the case with Baka for me I would loan him out in the summer and pray he has a good loan spell so we get our money back on him

Can't see it mate. Just sell him for as much as we can get now, sell Driniwater and put the funds in for a proper CM abd bring back RLC and Mount.

Loan him out? He is a donkey, he cant pass under pressure, cant shoot, gives away plenty of fouls and on top of that he gives the ball away more than the times he gives fouls away... if we can get rid of him for reasonable fee then do it. We need to sign a proper top of the level CM this summer. Can't expect Kante to carry the midfield again for another season if we continue with 3-4-3 or any other 2 man MF formation. The likes of van Ginkel is a better player than Bakayoko. I'd rather have seen us give him a shot than him, or even Drinkwater although I think for a squad player Drinkwater is okay, not great but being HG helps his status in the squad, although he is another with a pretty bang average skill set.

If we sell baka in the summer and the form he's on now we will be luck to get £5m for him it better loaning him out in the summer to a French club and pray he has a good loan spell so we can get some type of money back on him ATM no club is going pay the money Chelsea paid for him

If Monaco want him back like reported sell him to them for a loss of like 10m. No point worrying about a wee loss like 10m or that, hes on a long contract anyway so he'll get a good enough fee. Better to cut our losses before things go bad.

The season is almost over, I've seen enough of him now to pass a more informed judgement. I've bided my time on making this damning assessment, but here it goes - he is the worst player we've had since I've been following Chels. I'm not going to call him the worst signing just yet, simply because it takes a lot to top Torres for that title, and he still has the age and adaptation factor going for him. If he repeats the same shit next season, then he will be the worst player AND the worst signing of all time for me. He doesn't have anything you need from a professional football player, in any position, but especially in midfield. Ball control, first touch, passing, shooting, awareness, composure, jump timing, pace, recovery time - ALL missing. The most useful thing he does sometimes is get his body in the way, that's all I can think off, but often times this ends up with fouls.

Good start to the week,- because he played and wasn't subbed off at HT as usual (despite being absolute horsewank), so now he feels confident enough to pose and show off - sums up his loser mentality

Just spent some time reading this thread from the start. Made me laugh.

I actually feel sorry for @The Skipper the most. His optimism outshone everyones when it came to this clown. To his defence none of us could forecst this shambles of a footballer. Youtube is a lie.

Dead rught about YT. They can make anyone look good. I do wish they ould add the bad side too.

And also to be fair we was expecting him to be far better than he has been. After saying that one or rwo of my remaining grey cells are still hoping this season was him being climatized to the PL as we know just how difficult it is for many players whn they arrive. So I'll go with the flow. IF we can get a upgrade (Which i pray like fuck we do) then great. IF whatever manager comes and he gets him to perform like his Youtubes then even better.

Ah, it wasn’t even a YouTube thing. Bakayoko looks 1/10th the player he was at Monaco unfortunately. Tbh, most of the Monaco players have been pretty underwhelming in a sense (Mbappe, Bakayoko, Bernardo).
