Mind this is a situation where he had an unusual amount of time on the ball to make his decision. Just too slow in his thinking. This is the kind of mistake you make in level E youth. If you still make them as a pro you are not meant to play at a high level. Such a (nowadays) Mourinho type of player. So focused on 6'2+, powerful, athletic players that you forget to check if they can do the basics of playing football right. I have no idea why. He can play footie, he was superb at Monaco, and at times (not always) was a huge force at AC Milan. He puts on Blue and goes fucking all mental. Nervous... or shite. He really looks illsuited in our team. That game vs United where he and Morata played well is a long long long time ago. Iggy Doonican 4,186
In the book Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby there's a bit about a guy called Gus Caesar who played for Arsenal. Hornby wonders how someone who was completely out of his depth ever makes it in the first place. When you consider how many kids play football he's gone from playing for his school then to his county then through youth football to becoming a pro. So he's obviously got talent and had to stand out in every game he plays and yet soon as he turns pro and plays for the first team he's rancid. I can't help comparing him to Bakayoko I never saw him play for Monaco but he seems to get worse every time I see him play for us I never watched him play for A.C Milan either. It can't be just down to him not suiting a system when you come on against Irish part timers and give the ball away aimlessly and look like you couldn't get into their side then times up. robsblubot, Vesper and OneMoSalah
Vesper 30,184
Everton interested in Tiemoue Bakayoko https://sportslens.com/everton-interested-in-tiemoue-bakayoko/271792/ Everton are expected to sell Idrissa Gueye this summer and they have lined up Tiemoue Bakayoko as a potential replacement. According to French Journalist Saber Desfarges, the likes of Tousart, Tameze and Gbamain are being looked at as well. It will be interesting to see who the Toffees end up with eventually. Bakayoko was on loan at AC Milan last season and despite a tough start, he managed to win over the fans. He ended the season as one of Milan’s better performers. The 24-year-old Chelsea midfielder will want to prove himself in the Premier League next season and if the Blues do not provide him with that opportunity, he might be keen on a move to Everton. The former Ligue 1 ace is a fantastic talent who needs his confidence back. If he manages to adapt to Silva’s system, he could prove to be a great signing for Everton. Initially, it might seem like a gamble but Bakayoko has the talent to do well in England. It will be interesting to see if Everton are willing to take that risk and sign him from Chelsea. snip Fernando and Bosnian Blue
