I was not having a go at him bro. I am just stating that his love for the club and his belief that he still can carry on for Chelsea which majority of us believe he can do too has probably caused him to say the truth now to get the fans to back the campaign to give him a contract. Because I would not be surprised after all if he is offered one if he keeps up with his solid form tillt he end of the season.

Sorry mate, but I disagree with your last statement. I doubt there would be as much of a reaction if we at least knew that we had capable replacements in the squad, or were at least linked with good replacement targets.

Don't get me wrong, I'm also excited with the prospect of having a proactive defender like Miazga in the back four, but the fact is none of these guys are proven and the move could easily backfire.

I am sorry to say this, but currently it feels like we're the English version of Real Madrid.

- Sacking managers like it's nothing
- Treating club legends like shit (Raul, Casillas = JT, Lamps)
- Buying attacking players for the sake of buying

We're even worse, because we sell club hero/legends to direct rivals just because the money is better than selling them abroad (Mata, Cech). It currently feels like we're a club without an identity, maybe because the club is run by genies like Emenalo. The only thing that makes me proud is our fans > (1000 times) Real Madrid's fans. 

JT has played it smart, he's using the power of the fans and media to put pressure on the club and he's absolutely right. He doesn't want to be binned through the backdoor as garbage like Lampard/Ashley, those guys didn't even get a proper goodbye with the fans. ''No player/manager is bigger than the cub'' this is right but you will start asking yourself what the club actually is if they treat legends like this, it feels Chelsea football club is just a business to make money, nothing else. 

JT deserves a proper farewell like Gerrard had if he leaves, but more than that I think he deserves a new contract because of the many qualities he has as a player and as a leader.

Completely agree with what you said expect for the Mata and Cech thing.

I feel it was more of Roman keeping his word with Mata and Cech rather than selling them for a prize. It was very clear that Jose didnt want Cech to join Arsenal while Cech wanted to stay in London which Roman honored. Same with Mata, he said we would fight despite Jose publicly stating Oscar was his No. 10 but when it didnt go well for Mata ... he took the first offer than must have fallen in his lap.  

This only has helped strengthen our rivals.
