So you think Emenalo is as good as Sammer or Caminero?

How the bloody hell should I or anyone know this? No person in the world can answer that question.

  1. Nobody knows what Emanalo does for Chelsea exactly. Except for those that actually work at the club.
  2. What do Sammer and Caminero do at their clubs? I doubt their jobs are exactly the same given the difference in culture, monetary resources, club hierarchy and league rules.
  3. What has Emanalo done wrong?
  4. What have Sammer and Caminero done right in comparison?
  5. How can we know the relationship dynamic between the manager, the head scout and boards or each respective club?
  6. How much influence is delegated to the manager's opinion? How much to the scouts? How much to the board?

The only thing I know for sure about Emanalo is that he over sees the contract signings.

Then why did you say yes to my previous question?

Because until proven otherwise, yes he is suitable for the club. Why do you say he isn't? You are the one making the claim he isn't good enough, so supply some proof.

I did not claim anything. I just asked if you seriously think Guardiola and Simeone can repeat their success here. You said yes.

You asked a serious question in a seriously condescending manner that heavily implied that Guardiola and Simeone cannot work with Emanalo. That is how it seemed, anyway.

Fact remains, City went after Barcelona's ex-directors - some of which made them the club they were a few years ago. Bayern (!!!!) directors went to Barcelona to learn how they did their business establishing a philosophy and sticking with it through every new signing down to the way their academy works, spending months there to learn. RM had Zidane working for them for years, even if he was a moron (which I believe is far from the truth), his influence and respect in the world of football alone would open talks to players - for example, Hazard.

We had Emenalo instead. As if you needed more evidence that we aren't on the same level as some other top dogs.

and let's be honest, if you think this man alone got Mourinho fired, I think you're even more delusional than I initially assumed. He was the one who made the official announcement, he's one of the voices of the club to the media (one of the few or haven't you noticed we're very tight lipped on this side of London?), Mourinho getting fired was him making his own bed after dealing badly with some stuff and something that certainly came from higher people than Michael Emenalo. He's a non-factor and for as long as we keep this kind of people on our board we're in clear disadvantage. Call Mourinho all names you want, but don't ignore his brand. Our big signings during his time here mentioned HIS influence on their decision. Now we have almighty Emenalo to convince a player he should come here and not play European football instead of a figure like Zidane or Mourinho. Or the expertise of Barcelona's board. Let all the Pato's and promising American talents (!!!!) know us. I'm sure our board already have all their contacts.

That was not my intention. I just  have my doubts whether we provide the best assistance to our managers. It is not only about one individual. Successful Italian, German and Spanish teams are managed differently than us. That's why I think it is harder for foreign managers to repeat their success.

The problem is Emanalo is neither fish nor fowl. Has he had a distinguished playing career? No, Is he a respected coach? No, Is he a successful businessman? No. So you have to question why he's got such a high profile position at the club. Conclusion, Yes man and Patsy as seen when giving his interview after Mourinho's sacking.

So if you say that the sky is green, then you're not stupid or pathetic because, hell, it's your opinion, right?

In my opinion it is RETARDED (not pathetic, indeed) to claim that Emanalo caused Mourinho's leaving without having the slightest evidente of that. Some people are riding Mourinho's d*ck so hard that they're trying to find an excuse for him even after all this time. Firstly it was Eva, then the players, now it's Emanalo, tomorrow it will probably be Steve Holland and then the cleaning ladies from Stamford Bridge. But it will never be Mourinho himself, of course.

Edit: I forgot, sorry! It seems that Emanalo caused Mourinho's departure from Madrid aswell.

Nobody is talking about Michael getting Jose sacked, at least not me, not once. My issue and i think everyone's issue since around 2012, is he remains, despite high profile, quality people leaving, while bringing nothing comparable to the table when weighed against those who came and went. He's shown nothing in regards to how he deserves his position, and it is his position that is integral in recruiting players - too many of which are shit, and against the managers wishes. Who else is there to blame? Not for Mourinho's sacking, but for the appalling recruitment policy.
