blues.bridge 343
So I wanted to say some things , but I did not know where , so I write it all here ! Coach:CONTE is good , his teams are difficult to beat, but forget a spectacular football and especially LITTLE SPACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE !!! I am afraid that his intense training methods and his tactics in England will not be taken well, I hope not , but it could be a flop ! Board and staff:we complain here and there , the players , coaches , etc. , but the leadership ? I still have never seen a project on the long term , never! players:we are full of overrated players : pedro , oscar , willian , cahill , ivanovic and others Market:we have about 50 players between loans and rose, at least 20 would be to sell them right away ! then take a 4-5 really strong players ! a D.C , a D.C a wing and an attacker ! Finally the fans : as Baba , first he has to play, then the first error to destroy him all ! like with others. Then you complain if you do not play young people , if you are the first to destroy them for a bad performance ! then many want away hazard , ok ! but think a moment to consegueze without CL , without anything next year , if we let go of our most talented player that signal we give ? both to our players , both to those who we want to buy ? Absolutely GUTLESS, this guy. Colkett? Would probably get destroyed like how we destroyed City in the last round. Good point about RLC though, may not be ready but wouldn't do worse than Matic. But still would've lost today anyhow. The starting 11, the squad players on the bench all lacks quality. What do you expect?
Essien19 1,415
maybe we should sack Mourinho, oh sorry i mean Guus, absolutely out of his depth here. Because of one very bad week we all should forget the wins before. It's always about a few last games in modern day footie, but i'm not used to this kneejerk reaction, mhh. ? xPetrCechx 13,573
Guus Hiddink the wrong person to blame for this by the way. He came in to get us out of trouble, which he did. Blame the people above him. Hiddink: "In December, people inside (club) were sweating - sweating where they were (in the PL). They were wondering where they could go." But some shuffling must also be done in the upper roles. You can't keep those same people after a horror like this season. Sacking Mourinho was the right outcome, but so is some of those running the scenes. Let Fútbol man take over, like hiddink, Lampard, Drogba and such. Yes, it's annoying, especially after today because in contrast to the game against PSG the team didn't put in enough effort. They could have done more, therefore i don't blame Guus or Mou, most of the players don't play for the shirt, the fans and simply for the club anymore. Some might say it's because of Mou's antics, others would say true leaders can't ever be discouraged, they maybe stir shit up behind the scenes, but on the field, they bring their A-game and try to win it for the fans. Keane said it some time ago about some Chelsea player(s). Maybe i'm out of line, but i like Costa, he will receive his punishment, but he cares for us. He puts himself out there. In the end of day you win some, you lose some, life goes on, could have been worse, at least we're staying up! Enjoy the little things... killer1257 3,282
What I do not get is why Hidding loves to play both Mikel and Matic in a midfield because I can´t remember a single game under Hiddink when this experiment worked,so there should be no reason to let Matic play alongside Mikel. We never played good football when both where on the pitch. (Honestly if you are a Mourinho lover, this does NOT help Mourinho in any way, as posting that makes him look like a total dickhead for putting Chelsea in this mess.) I think he just wants to say that the sacking was the wrong call, it's still debatable, imo, but i don't want to be dragged into this, i think some ago we already discussed it. There's so much schadenfreude, no matter which party you support, it's getting boring, no problem with you, mate. Van Gaal once said that ManU is living in the past, we shouldn't adapt to this philosophy, i needed some time too, but we should look to the future. Lukaku is gone, end of it, but we need to bring back Musonda, try to bring back Christensen early and think about in which positions we need more competition in the squad, some are easy, others are more difficult. But more importantly, we need to announce the next headcoach, i think it's an error that a club the size of ours still keeps it a secret. I think it would take some pressure of Hiddink's shoulders, if i'm not wrong he also stated that some time ago. Regards!

Tomo 21,751
Courtois couple of months bad form. "Average", "drop him for Begovic", "never should have sold Cech". Hazard has an average season " wanker", "sell him", " he doesn't give a shit" Costa is poor for five months "rubbish", " sell the useless cage fighter ", " Lukaku is so much better". Schurrle and Mata who have both been bang average since we sold them (and for their last stages here), on the other hand are apparently greats who we royally fucked up selling. BlueLion. 21,491
In all honesty, Guus' superman image has now dissolved. I was one of those in the Shed back in 2009 (vs Blackburn when Malouda scored one of the best headers I've ever seen...) when we were singing "Guus Hiddink, we want you to stay" and "You can stick your Ancelotti up your arse". Guus' short reign in 2009 was a near-perfect period for the club. We went through a stage of being the most-feared team in Europe. We secured third place in style (that 4-1 win at the Emirates was the single best Chelsea away performance in the Abramovich era until City away in 2013/14), won the FA Cup, and only a cunt of a referee prevented us from getting revenge on United in the Champions League. We would have won that final in Rome. We'd have fucking smashed them, because we were unbeatable with an inspired coach. I remember him bringing Kalou off after half an hour in the 4-4 draw with Liverpool. He was having a shocker - so Guus brings on Anelka who ends up having the game of his life and sets up three goals for us to knock the Scouse cunts out. Even José didn't have the bollocks to pull stunts like that in a Champions League quarter-final! We all desperately wanted him to stay, because he got the best out of an outstanding squad. We played some very exciting football and we just would not fucking give up. This time round, it's almost as if he's realised this is an impossible job, trying to sort out a bunch of spineless tossers. He's done an incredible job - to get 25 points from 39 since he came in (especially since we only took 15 out of the first 48) is a massive, massive turn-around. But his team selection, his substitutions, and his approach to games in general have left an awful lot to be desired. We looked hopeless in both games vs PSG, and the Everton game on Saturday is the lowest I've felt in an unbelievably shit season. I can't blame him for not really giving a shit, especially considering the poverty options available to him, but when he came in, I think we all had serious hopes and ambitions that he'd genuinely inspire us on to win a piece of silverware of maybe even get us into the top 4 - another miracle job - in order to help plaster over the cracks of this campaign. But there just haven't been any signs that would indicate that, and now our season is over by mid-March. His biggest challenge, now, is motivating this bunch of bottlers for the final push in the Premier League.

What a joke that signing has been. I thought it was obvious Terry was brought in to win headers as we were looking to play long balls. It wasn't the first time, he's been used as an extra striker in situations like this for as long as I can remember. Even the equalizer against United came partly thanks to JT's movement. Pato, with his suspect match fitness and what I assume to be not great aerial ability, wouldn't have helped us one bit I feel. I'm surprised nobody's calling for Falcao to play, they both are basically playing the same role in the team (injured or unfit misfits). Forget about Pato, this deal is a flop. Been saying for long time that having someone like Cesc to be your leader and key mid is bad for club. However I didnt expect whole squad to go ballless in this season. Take a look at Vidal today. First year at bayern; hardly a loyal player yet despite losing 2:0 he was firing up the fans, he was fighting till end and yelling at players to not give up. Meanwhile you see the likes of Cesc and Matic and Mikel jog around not giving two fucks. Even if Cesc tells others to fight on, he himself is not such player to die for club and you just cant be a leader in practice if you dont have mentality. And thats problem with over half of squad. We never had Ronaldos or Messis or Hazards, but we had a fucking team of players who wont stop sprinting until final whistle. The sooner we clean current squad or make them winners, the better. BlueLyon 9,359
Now with absolutely nothing to lose, with literaly zero to lose, we should play RLC every damn game. Why? Because if club board with Hiddink had any intelligence that we need to look in future, and Mikel simply should not be part of it, while Matic is in disaster of form, then I dont see why Rlc wouldnt play. If he does well, we get a mid for next 10 years. If not, we have nothing to lose because we already lost everything this season. But still, Guus and Co will fucking play Mikel just to safely finish season. Absolutely fumming. Even Van Gaal is giving more chance to youngsters because he knows seniors are shit and if at least one kid makes it, it will be a success. But not at chelsea. Yeah keep playing safe. Keep playing bunker in every major game and keep playing Mikel and Matic and Cesc who have shown this season they dont give two fucks for club and should be benched. Dont play RLC because he is "not ready". My ass. Today juve shown example althrough with bad final score. They went agressively from first whistle. They were playing against dominant bayern away' without several key players, yet they decided to attack from first minute. If that was us, we would probably bunker the whole 90min just to be safe...the moment Allegri switched to bunker and took out Cuad and Morata, that moment they lost the game. But we decided its best to play safe against psg. As soon our coach and players grow some balls the better.
