The Mourinho Thread

I still think he loves inter more :'( <\3

His family live in London and continued to live in London when he was in italy, must have been lonely. Being at Chelsea means he's closer to them, so he could only ever have love for Chelsea.

Also, Chelsea fans get confused when they hear Mourinho saying the best moment of his career was winning the CL with Inter, that doesn't mean the same applies to the club itself.

Sorry, that's all sorts of wrong. Firstly, his family lived in Milano and his children attended school there, same as they did in Madrid. There are enough articles, photos etc to prove it.

And secondly, I very much doubt that London, great sity that it is, is a reason to love football club.

He spoke in interviews about how hard it was on them, 'leaving London' and their friends/schools, and now he wants stability 'for them'; hence why Mourinho constantly traveled back to London during his spells in italy & spain. I read an article saying how his kids were going back for their exams, so clearly it wasn't as clear cut as staying there.. but the point remains.

You still haven't provided any sources to your claims.

IIRC, he said in a interview (or maybe a documentary, I can't remember) a couple of years ago that his family had always moved with him but that they enjoyed London the most. I also remember reading somewhere that in his last season in Madrid, his daughter was attending college in London. So, you're both kind of right.

Wasn't a claim, just stuff I've read from articles/interviews, if the guy I'm responding to posts sources, then I might make the effort to get hold of the shit I've read over the years, meh.

It shouldn't matter if he posts sources or not. Besides, I wanted to read your sources before he came into the equation. They sound like interesting interviews.

Yep, that was it.. his daughter.

There was an article (in spring 2013 ?) about his wife and daughter flying to London to enlist her in school for next year and it was cited as one of the proofs that he's going to leave Madrid. But I can probably find a link to video from New Year celebration (december 2012) where Jose and Perez are discussing a school in Madrid where she studies - this one I remember because I was studying Spanish back then and our teacher was Real's fan and loved to give us videos from their channel for excersise. Also Jose's son was playing for a team in Madrid at the time.

Inter stuff will be a bit harder to find... stop. That was even easier. That's 2009, both children are studying in Switzerland not far from Milano home.

God, I'm feeling myself like a stalker... But I was really interested to find if there's some truth to what Term-X claims, and sorry - looks like there isn't.

He's declared his love for Inter and Inter fans a thousand times - the last when Torres moved to Milan AC a few months back when he said he would have preferred him to go to Inter because he loves the club, loves the supporters, etc... (so it means he really wanted Torres to go to Milan because nobody that loves a club wishes them to have Torres).

And what's the point? What's the difference? This isn't a competition. He loves us, he's happy to be one of us, end of it. He can love as many teams in the world as he wants, I don't think it has to be only one... he supported Chelsea wherever he went, he publicly supported us on UCL and the same with Inter, so I think it's more than okay. Couldn't care less which he loves more or less.

He's probably staying here for a long time, and I mean a really long, long time. that's all that matters
