RoyalBlues 4,050
Chelsea WILL lose this season but WON'T enter crisis mode says boss Jose MourinhoJose Mourinho has sent an ominous warning to the rest of the Premier League by insisting there will be NO Chelsea crisis this season. On the day when one publicity-seeking bookie paid out on his Blues winning the title, just 11 games into the season, the Stamford Bridge boss claimed there is NO pressure when you lead from the front. With all of their traditional title rivals seemingly on the brink of crisis, unbeaten Chelsea appear bullet-proof.Mourinho was in bullish mood on Friday after two weeks of R&R - adamant that Chelsea would not suffer a slump in form and in no mood to give a sucker an even break. He said: "The thing that gives us confidence is the results we are getting are not occasional. They're because we're playing well."We believe that, when we lose points, the next game we are going to play well again."Against Maribor in the Champions League [earlier this month], we lost two points but in the next game we were not in crisis. We were at Liverpool to play well again."I don't believe there'll be a Chelsea crisis in the season. I believe Chelsea will lose points AND matches, but not in a crisis of results. I truly believe in our ability."We don't have pressure to lead. The pressure is for the ones who are coming behind. I always felt the pressure when I was behind, not when I was on the top and I've always been competing for titles. To be first is easier than to be second. If you're first, you think just about yourself."http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-lose-season-wont-enter-4669862

Popular Post! lionsden 4,689 Posted November 23, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted November 23, 2014 One thing Jose doesn't get enough credit for was how he refocused and reshaped our transfer strategy. In the past seasons we had become far too obsessed with buying young unproven talent and that strategy did leave us unbalanced squad and set us back even though it has proven very profitable. I'm sure if Jose hadn't arrived, we probably would have bought a bunch of talented youngsters to send out on loan while neglecting the immediate needs of the team. The balance between buying genuine quality for now and talented youngster for the future is one other thing he has brought to the club. The Chels 2,502
I'm confident we could beat them today. Our best chance would be in a final as their superior quality would probably come through over 2 legs. Even then it would bery very difficult. If we concede first then we're screwed because of their counter-attacking. If we score first we'd park the bus, invite them on to us and inevitably concede. Blue Armour 4,759
You have to consider the possibility that Mourinho didn't want to teach them anything at all..considering how ultra-competitive he is, that wouldn't be surprising. His first "real" students might very well be his own players, namely the likes of Drogba and Terry, who will manage big names and teams probably only long after Mourinho hangs up his coat. The thing is he's a genius, especially tactically and that one doesn't teach to another, even if they try hard. It's like a talent such as Hazard, you either has it or you don't, you can't teach someone dribble like that, it's inherent to them. Mourinho's understanding of the mechanisms of the game is something special. People can learn a lot of things from him, but that's his. Someone would have also to have the same to be able to be like him, but then again they wouldn't have learned it from him either, they would have been born with that.
