yuvala 2,167
If falcao does go. Then that would probably be the spark that sets off/ improves Romans' desire to aquire the services of a big name striker. Be it cavani, lewy or whoever. But I can't see us going into next season with torres ba and lukaku as our striker options. That is If Romelu is not loaned. You never know with Chelsea.. jfruedam 8
Now we just have to pray its to Monaco and not United or City. You know, I would actually be OK with him going to United or City... Why? I would hate to see such a talent wasted in such a deplorable team like Monaco. Besides, we will probably go for a great striker too, as someone said before. Falcao, Van Persie, Cavani....My God, the fight for the "pichichi" would be EPIC

Bir_CFC 3,455
I don't see United, they have RVP. I can see him going to City which I don't mind, because if it hasn't come up in the board's mind to buy a striker it def will then and I'm sure we'll break the bank for Cavani in that case. Every morning from the opening of the transfer window until the end of the transfer window I will be hoping to see that any club but our's has signed Falcao so then we go for Cavani. Edison is the man for us, I just know he will be absolutely immense in front of Hazard, Oscar and Mata.
LondonPride1905 236
Мy bet is City or Monaco, maybe PSG. Actually hope it's not us, because we have the same amount of talent and poaching instinct in Torres. Only a damaged knee and low morale makes a difference

LucienDillonCFC 77
Obviously if falcao comes, I'm sure he will be a beast. But failing that cavani is equally as good, Both will strengthen the team immensley!!!!

Im hoping Jose requests this player to be bought and we can move in.
Special Juan 28,141
Lewandowski or Cavani over this bloke for me. And before the pelters start, I like Falcao but I feel we would be better served by the other two and what they offer.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
We must break the bank for him now. Just get him in. Cavani was perfect but of course we miss out on him.

Fernando 6,585
@GraemeBailey: Sky Italia claiming Monaco have not only agreed a deal for Falcao but will also add Portuguese based-duo Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez.Wow, that will just mean more competition in the European League! Well not for Monaco next season but in the future. Monaco is really a great city to live in. If I had to chose between Monaco and anywhere else, I would go over there. But they need to make themselves a force like PSG is trying to do and they will get there. If they got 2 top teams like PSG and Monaco, then it will make the league just a bit better. Sort of like La Liga, where only two teams are dominant..... But the PL will continue to be the dominant because there is much more competition, despite having two teams with wealthy owners. Sooooo money, Monaco, a new project????.....I don't blame them for choosing that place. It will take some time, but sure another exciting project. chrismada9 1,948
I seriously don't understand why Falcao would want to join a recently Ligue 1-promoted club with no European Football guaranteed ... he would clearly be going for the money, surely! Not that I would want Falcao to join us for a ridiculous amount of money or anything, but I just think it's stupid! Then again, Lewandowski is a much better, and a cheaper option than him... otherwise he wouldn't have slammed 4 past Real Madrid this season!... did I mention he's three years younger than Falcao??
