YouNameIt 1,511
It seems that Bayern Munchen are the most likely the biggest contender. Their two top priority transfer targets are Falcao and Luis Suarez and they have about 280 million euro's put aside for the summer.Random meaningless quote (is it even one) prolly from a random twitter och random shitty website. Swoopz 183
It seems that Bayern Munchen are the most likely the biggest contender. Their two top priority transfer targets are Falcao and Luis Suarez and they have about 280 million euro's put aside for the summer. This story is complete bullshit. First of all, Bayern's latest stockholders meeting took place November 15th 2012. Guardiola had not even officially negotiated let alone signed with Bayern at this point. What Hoeneß did however say at this stockholder meeting was that Bayern had equity of 278.2 Million Euro (which is probably where people are taking this number from) at the time, including an immediatly available cash reserve of 127.6 Millionen Euro. He expressed great pride in this uniquely comfortable position that they were in even after the transfer of Martinez for a club record sum, and with no word whatsoever did he lead anybody to believe that they were going to blow the entire savings of the club in one fell swoop, let alone that they would let the guy they had not even signed yet do it. Milan 17,957
A Czech friend of mine who is into the world football very much says that according to the Atletico president, Chelsea have the first option to buy Falcao (thanks to the Thibaut deal). Only after we reject the idea of buying him, the Spanish club will start listening to other clubs. He said that Atletico had already rejected offers from PSG, Zenit and Man City. If Falcao wants to join any other club that is interested in him a first option clause isn't going to do us any good. It's really just a very minor advantage, since we'd be the first ones to make an impression. That is if this is even true.
Stats 7,142
Scored a last minute consilation in a 2-1 loss and tbh was overally poor but the key point is a goalscorer can look totally out of it but he will put the ball in the back of the net. Don't have to play well, but the job is to score and that is what he does.

Put it this way, I would not spend over £40m for him. We have seen it with too much strikers here now, Falcao may be different but there is no guarantee to say he will be the clinical striker we are looking for. Falcao is like that in a lot of games though. He doesnt really do much in the match but he always pops up at the right moment, that is all I require from a striker tbh. I would like us to have Ba and Lukaku here as the focal strikers. If we are going to just dish out money on new strikers, not really a vote of confidence our strikers need. Pizy 18,909
Just saw a Chelsea supporter posting over on Redcafe(Manc forum) that the Sky Sports "La Liga experts" just said we have or will offer Atletico £35m and Courtois for Falcao.DON'T DO IT, CHELSEA! Courtois is invaluable to us.
Spike 12,049
I'd rather Courtois over Falcao.
Pizy 18,909
I'd rather Courtois over Falcao.I'd rather just keep Courtois and pay a higher fee for Falcao than knocking the price down by including Courtois. The club should take the same stance on Courtois as we here do with Mata. Not to be sold under any circumstances.
YouNameIt 1,511
If the only reasonable way to land Falcao is to include Thibaout in a deal, then look otherwise.Option 1: Buy someone like Cavani instead and run with Cavani+Ba (and recall Lukaku after another season or two)Option 2: Bring back Lukaku and buy some cheap striker for 5-10m who can play as 3rd. YouNameIt 1,511
Id rather have Cavani, Lewandowski or El Shaarawy. You can forget about Lewandowski. I am 100% positive he is only going to United or (the most likely) Bayern.
Kojo 4,676
Lmfao unbelievable... now that he's having a few bad games he will be a flop, just watch he will get a hattrick or something and next thing you know half the people on this thread will be dick riding him and wanting roman to go spend about 45 million on him. Santiago. 1,500
You honestly think just Ba and Lukaku, will lead this club to the right direction?

Unbelievable how many are rating him when he has a bad game then all of a sudden praise him when he humiliates the Barca defense. On form or not, those who actually have been watching his performances would know the quality he truly has to create something out of nothing. If he is under 40mill, He has to be our main priority.
