With the speed of PSG and the importance of the match, I can't see how Ramires is not going to play, and that Mourinho will put on Cuadrado.

If Mou actually plays Cuadrado, it is a very strong indication that he really rates the guy.

Also Zouma is definitely going to play this one to deal with quick PSG players.

Hes been playing Zouma a bit lately, and he played Cuadrado against Everton, so I think hes trying out his options.

My bet is this line up:

Cech

Iva, Zouma, Terry, Azpi;

Matic, Ramires;

Willian, Fabregras, Hazard;

Costa

Yeah, I agree they will be up for it, no doubt about it, but at the same time the lack of strong opponents in that poor league can turn against them to be fair.

They've been poor all season, there is no way they go Barcelona 2010/11 level all of a sudden.

Chelsea might not be te ultimate football team, but this is a tie that Jose has to win. There are other teams that Chelsea should be afraid of, such as Bayern, Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico. Not Paris.

I might sound a bit cocky, but Paris is nothing special. And their best player's record in Champions League knock-out phase speaks volumes - 7 goals in his entire career.

Ibrahimovic is a great player for Serie A and Ligue 1, but a fraud in Champions League. Especially against English teams (3 goals in 16 matches vs English opposition or something similar to this).

I'm not arrogant, just confident that Chelsea can knock out a team that consists of players such as David Luiz (clown), Maxwell, Sirigu, Motta, Lucas Moura (headless chicken).

If you are afraid of such team then you don't deserve to be challenging for big trophies. What about when Bayern gonna be knocking at the door?? Declare forfait just because they pass the shit out of every opponent? No team is better than you and that should be the mentality.

Lets not get carried away here. The Champions League represents the best of the best and on any given day a team can put together a performance to beat the favourites. Its highly unpredictable. For instance, last year was the first time all the team who won their group qualified to the q-finals.

I think we have enough mettle to beat PSG, however, I understand that they have great players who also want to achieve their objectives. It would be foolish to write them off completely.

I would like to see us to have a great Counter-attacking display come Tuesday, and i expect thats what JM will set us up to do.

We know we wont go 'mano y mano' against PSG AWAY from home, there's just no need, and its not the JM way. However!

We have not played a clean counter-attcaking game in ages, (granted because we're facing weaker opposition week-in-week-out) but the point still stands. Whenever we try to hit teams on the break, theres usually misplaced passes galore or a hold up that kills the break.

PSG will gladly take the possesion, as its a vital part to how they play..however, im not too confident we'll be clinical or even successful if we try to play that way. Of course i'm hoping to be proved wrong, but to have expectations of that classic Man City away 1-0 may be too much for me.

The main reason our counter has been hampered is the fouling. Teams will sooner get a yellow(or nothing in most cases) than allow the likes of Willian, Hazard, Ramires, Oscar run at them with pace and numbers. We saw it even against city.

what are you talking about? Why try something new in arguably the biggest match of the season so far?

I mean as a no. 10 but sometimes operated deeper to help our pivot, Ramires and Matic. It is more like a 433 actually. I believe that is not new.

My reason is because Fabregas might not fully fit yet and Oscar has been in fresh condition after being rested.

Isn't Cuadrado "cup tied" for the UCL this year due to the January signing?

No. Available and in the squad.

There are two parts to the regulations regarding cup tied players: -

  1. A player is automatically cup tied if he has already played for another club in the same competition during the same season. For example, Matic played for Benfica in last season's Champions' League group stage so was not available to be selected for us in that competition after joining in January.
  2. Every club is allowed to field a maximum of one player who has already played for another team in a different UEFA club competition. Cuadrado played in the Europa League for Fiorentina but since were are allowed to use one EL player in our CL squad, he's in.

About Zlatan Ibrahimovic I want to say one thing: Ibrahimovic is not a danger for us. In fact, he is one of the main reasons why the PSG is not anyone even when they have spent so much money.

Ibrahimovic is an arrogant character with an impertinent personality and conveys a permanent feeling of passiveness and carefree, with an unselfish behavior all over, as if he had no more objectives that fatten his own ego.

I think his attitude lazy / arrogant contagious to his teammates. PSG is a team full of stars who earn a lot of money each year and whose star has no ambition than his own ego. This is a mixture of egos, glamor, fame and arrogance which does not have a winning mentality as when Roman came to Chelsea. We do not we signed players like we're crazy. We signed him gradually good players and when I get Jose difinitivo we gave the jump to be a TOP TEAM. PSG is more like the GALACTICOS and the problems that entails.

This vague attitude hurts the PSG, but can make US very happy.

Regards to ALL.
