ok fair enough, i read that he was staying , then torres and de jong made him leave, which wouldnt have been good.

but i still dont like the situation, letting him go after failing to get tiago, wasn't smart.

You have to also think what's best for him too. Yes, it would have given the team more stability and security had he stayed, but that would have probably killed his development and saw him sold at the end of the season. Granted it's not exactly going in splendidly for him at Milan (though things seem to be looking up for him now), but at the time, I think it was the right decision.

I'll agree on the first part. Though I'm not sure how you can't see the correlation.

Newcastle away is one of the toughest fixtures on the calendar, you don't look at it and say 3pts. Hull, Burnley, Palace, QPR, Leicester, Villa you say 3pts.

So silly questions, I totally understand why José didn't want to speak that much. Maybe 1 question about tomorrows match, otherwise this conference was such bs.

Those questions are so fucking poor.

I wouldnt be surprised if the next conference they ask things like "coke or pepsi" or "whats your favorite color and why".

City's tactics and gameplan in the Sunderland game were much better than ours, although they did have the benefit of watching our mistakes. If we manage to (convincingly) beat Newcastle tomorrow then my fears will be allayed but otherwise I expect we will drop a lot of points away to the smaller sides again.

The fact is, we softened up sunderland for citeh, sunderland had to run their bollox off to earn a draw and that showed wednesday nite, you just can't do that twice in a week. just unfortunate we played them when we did.

Still only three hours til i leave for the bridge and the nice 5 hour coach trip to newcastle!

Interesting to see the line up looks like for this match. I would not be surprised if we go 433 this time. We always lose to them at their home because we're on attacking formation, no? Let's do the 433, drop deep, playing counter whatever as long as we come out with some points.

Big match today. With our recent history, this is not a friendly place for the Blues. Three points would be an excellent showing, no matter how we get them. As is everyone, I am curious what XI and formation Jose puts on the pitch. A goal early would be HUGE in this one. On the flip side, don't need to fall behind early.

This is a great time for Hazard to "get in" a couple of times and show some of his world class scoring skill.

With these early matches, three points and you can sit back and enjoy the weekend action. Lose and it's

Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

think today our "invincible" tag might be in big danger. hoping mikel puts in a brilliant shift. thats the only way i see us winning the game!!!

if rambo is fit, i think he will play as a RW to provide that extra cover and legs in the mid which we will definitely lack in a pivot of cesc and mikel.

cesc mikel
