England has some talent too, but its about mentallity. In other countries they have young teams in professional leagues they can taking experience and minutes in better way than play against another youngsters. If some players play well they take a chance in fist squad. But in england is different because here you cant do mistakes because every of them will end by dangerous co-attack and probaly goal. So managers prefer to buy experieced players than give a chance to young guys.

Midtable player on a midtable team...

Sterling has nothing similar to cr7. cr7 is a physical beast, who is 6'1 and about 180lbs with rocket launchers for legs... While Sterling is a small and frail english player that has immense speed and good dribbling ability.

Their is absolutely nothing similar with these 2 players, now if you said walcott and lennon...

Agree to disagree about Ronaldo, even though I'd say the comparisons about Ronaldo relate to work rate and development as opposed to tangible measures. (though I'd argue Ronaldo wasn't as much of a beast at 19 that he is now)

But I won't compare him to Walcott and Lennon at all because first and foremost he doesn't rely solely on pace like the other two. Walcott, Lennon, SWP, Townsend etc all simply relied to on their explosions of pace to get them into the limelight. The occasional long-range shot too. That's why most of them get phased out and become forgotten because they fail to develop any other skills.

Sterling is completely different. Yeah he's quick as hell, but he's got a better variation of pace, he's better at dribbling and he takes on the defenders. He's still got further to go to develop technical ability but his natural skills are there to see. He's not even a traditional RW because he prefers to pick the ball up and drive through the middle rather than run wide like a headless chicken.

If anything you could see a shade of early-Bale about him. A player who can do as much, if not more, damage when playing through the middle. His body is still growing so there's no reason that he can't become a beast in the Ronaldo mould, but he doesn't even need to because despite looking like he has the build of McEachran, but he's evidently stronger.

Iva is too slow to face him i think.

I don't think there is a RB in World Football who can handle his pace. The reason I want Brana on him is because not only is he a physical beast but his experience and awareness is much better.

cr7 and bale had room to grow in their bodies..

Sterling is barely 5'7 and is around +150lbs...

Unless, he jacks up and turns to Messi (body wise) with a massive lower body strength, Sterling and cr7/bale are not the same... Oscar is a person that hasnt filled out in his body. Hazard has filled out as did lukaku already and I doubt both of the belgians will improve body wise, because to me, they're already at their peaks, body wise...

People that fill out their bodies are usually kids that are either really tall or really lanky, aka nba basketball players. i.e. Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis, Lebron James.

TBH, liverpool play a ton of weak kids on their squad.

Moreno, manquillo, sterling, coutinho, etc.

Chelsea is known to be a "hard man" team, which current chelsea is and why mata never would of fitted....

Anyways, we shall see how good Sterling is today against IVAN, the destroyer and Rambo, the ankle breaker.

Pointing out Nike is wrong is like taking candy from a baby. Challenge yourself Term!

He was the only one who troubled us from their team. Was a very good save from Courtois to stop him scoring but was the only one who kept popping up and causing us problems. Has pace to burn and superb strength.

While Sterling is a small and frail english player

Coutinho was liverpool's best offensive threat today and sterling did what?

NOTHING.... You guys can keep placing your hope on nothing.

Sterling is what he is. A pace whore

he almost scored, and played at full pace for the whole game. was probably their best player, along with coutinho as you said, but it seems he has more endurance

Yet it was Sterling who played the whole game and Coutinho went off. You really are smart aren't you? If he was there best offensive threat surely he would have stayed on? Sterling caused a few problems and imo it was him and Can who I give any credit from their team.

When asked on why he subbed Coutinho, BR said "'I didn’t think we were creating enough so I made the change". And Sterling stayed on.....

Rodgers started Sktrl over Agger doesnt make skrtl a better defender.

Rodgers started Gerrard every game as a dm, doesnt make him a better dm than the other players on the squad....

Rodgers starting Hendo at the n10 position over coutinho in prior games.....

Smart you are not.

That is not my point. Managers can make decisions but surely if Coutinho was this great attacking threat today that you are creating him out to be, he would have stayed on Nike yes? But he went off and BR words were because "we were not creating enough". So your argument has been ended. The manager did not thought he contributed enough and therefore he went off. Sterling on the other hand stayed on. How can you say Coutinho was more of an offensive threat than Sterling? That is rubbish. I can tell you that the only player on that team I genuinelly was threatened by was Sterling because of his pace, dribbling and movement. You clearly are just being ignorant for the sake of it if you tell me he was awful.
