I know, some of think Cech is a legend & all that jazz.

To me, he is certainly injury prone. All these years, his body on the line for Chelsea, I admire greatly.

Currently, at his age his injuries it takes much longer to heal.

I honestly believe, Courtois must be given a chance to become No. 1. Either share duties, for back-up if possible, for continuity, for the betterment of the team.

Would be logical, as 3 months may well turn into 4 or 5 as the time goes. I doubt we'd risk it.

Since Cech faces three months out, Thibaut will be handed the opportunity to become Chelsea´s Number 1 goalkeeper.

I do not mean to be a-hole, but this situation is an ideal one for the club. This injury has now made it much easier & Courtois is likely to start next season as No.1 as the kid wishes.

When your No 1 goalie gets injured, it´s always a loss. I am here to wish a speedy recovery, but Courtois is the future & that´s undoudetly the truth.

a dislocation is much worse than fracturing a collar bone ... a break will heal but a dislocation can lead to repeats, Time to bring in Courtois.

Let me be the first to say congrats for making the PL's team of the year. Well deserved indeed, and in reality Cech should have won it more times. Scarce compensation in light of the injury, but compensation nonetheless.

Not as strange as De Gea winning it last season.

Yeah he doesn't deserve it on the season he's had, as there are keepers who have exceeded expectations and had excellent seasons like Marshall, but on ability alone, Petr is still by far the best keeper in the league.
