I guess there's more to the reason why he's not selected even when Costa was in bad form. He must be this bad in training as well.

I think he may go this coming week (as it is last week of the window)  and we will bring in pato or teixeira.

 

He needs to play regularly to find his best form, wont ever play regularly here unless Costa gets a bad knock keeping him out for a long period.  So as a result most, if not all, sub appearances will be poor as there is no run of form to be had.

 

If Palace or Villa stick 7-8 down, id be tempted to take it. To be honest

The guy deserves to be starting for a club. He obviously has the talent, as has been seen at QPR and Tottenham. As I said earlier (as have others) he doesn't particularly want to be at the club, or so his body language suggests. The club and he are wasting time, let him go.
