Term-X 7,891
psg are interested in cech. or atleast thats what the tabloids say.Nah, nothing reliable from them, Sirigu is a top keeper, kept a clean sheet for 775 minutes, a PSG record breaker.Monaco however, that's different, from the moment Alves failed his medical they will have had their eyes on Cech's situation. Viper22 2,418
If we somehow offload Torres and possibly Mikel, then get in another 2nd choice striker, preferably HG like Rodriguez but equally could be Bony, Benteke or Hernandez this will officially be the best transfer window by any club in the PL era. (considering his transfer fee to be 19mil from anderlecht and just 24 mil from everton) (very high estimates) (can be as high as 26mil if his clauses were not triggered out hence making his transfer fee as low as 10mil, and his transfer fee to everton being 30mil pounds).a total of 22.6mil.if we sell torres for even 5mil. thentorres = 13milcosta=16milDD = 4millukaku =-16.4milba = -0.75mil which makes a total of 16mil(round figure).considering we can atleast match the amount we spent of strikers last season, we have 18mil pounds in FFP terms.we can buy another striker worth about 32mil and at wages of 185kpw. selling torres with the lukaku deal done, makes perfect sense. if torres does not not leave, it will be cos jose and the board want him to stay, no other reason. DazLaughlan 55
Fernando Torres has turned into a total dead weight for us. We can't offload him because his wages yet we can't use him trustingly because he simply isn't good enough. Costa, Lukaku and Drogba would have been a solid strike force, take Lukaku out and replace with Torres and suddenly our excellent transfer window looks almost in vain. Korea 734
You never cease to amaze with the stuff you come up with. Why on Earth would West Ham want to loan him? He's turd as well.Thank fuck your not in charge of transfers. If Andy Carroll ever ends up in a Chelsea shirt I'll shoot myself. I hope Jose recognizes that going into the season with Costa, Torres and Drogba as strikers isn't good enough imo. Its basically the same as last year but we have one genuine 20 goal a season striker. If Costa gets injured or doesn't adapt, then what? Throw Torres or a 36 year old in?? No fucking way man. I can see us getting another CF yet. Just like the same turds that thought Giroud wasnt a good holdup player.fing hs kids these days

Mustafa 885
Marco Reus. Just refused to sign a new contract that Dortmund offered him so they can bump up the amount of his current release clause of £27 million (which becomes active next season). So a cheeky bid of £35 million would probably be enough.Besides, with Ribery ageing now, I'm 100% sure Bayern will be interested come next season when they can buy him on his release clause. And Bayern are the last team Dortmund would want to sell to. kellzfresh
Fulham Broadway 17,362
Nope.Costa, Drogba & Torres it is with Schurrle if needed. That's a major improvement on last year imo Sidzeret
MichaelDance 552
We have to sell one more player, hopefully that is Torres. If so, hopefully we can bring in a great 2nd option up front. We'd make a loss, everyother club is like 50m for him f*ck off lol.

petre.ispirescu 4,928
I wish I'd be English to explain this better, but I'll give it a try though. Hope you'll get my point. From what I've read, after the Lukaku move, Chelsea can spend up to €75-80m on transfers this month (August) w/o breaking the FFP rules. But if Chelsea will do such thing, then in the next transfer windows (not now!), the club will have (is forced) to sell some loanies to free up FFP space (wages plus some other FFP related stuff). Is important to know that the club won't have to sell now. No, not now, but in the next transfer windows (next winter and next summer). Don't ask me, I don't know why, apparently this are the rules. That's why the club have sent Kakuta or Bertrand on loan, instead of selling them. The club will probably send Moses on loan, too, and Marin. There is no need to sell them right now because it would mean nothing in the FFP books. Next transfer windows are important in terms of getting rid of loanies, not this one.The same thing goes for Torres too, I'm afraid. As Jose said, the deals that Chelsea have made this summer have put the club in a great position so freeing up the Torres space would not mean a big deal in the FFP books now. But it will mean a big deal next summer, when he'll free a hell of a lot of space in the FFP books (even if he goes for free!).As I said, I don't know why in order to buy this summer you have to sell in the next transfer windows (loanies especially), but apparently this are the rules.Wanted to write this in the Kakuta thread, for those wondering why Chelsea didn't sell him now. At least this is what I think - Chelsea needs to free up loanies space in the next windows, not in this one. Even if Kakuta will leave for free next summer, he'll free up space for that window. And to answer Special Juan's question, yes, I think there's one more top player to arrive this summer. stroey

bluesman2610 1,423
With a few technical strikers in last 11 months of their existing deals I personally think someone like Benz or Dzeko would be ideal for us to dominate in PL and Europe .. we somehow though need to get rid of Mikel/ and or Torres to pull off one of these deals.. Both those strikers have contracts expiring in 2015 why not cheeky big we have the money to pull it off
