Hybrid Angel 2,130
Quality and passion. He is by far my favourite player from this new generation of Chelsea players. Hiddink has not done a 'good' job by any means, but he has gave new life to Costa just like he did with Drogba in 2009. Imo he is so good that if him and Hazard are in top form they can get us past PSG. Wishful thinking against two top defenders in David Luiz and Thiago Silva and them being a good side as a whole, but we have nothing to lose so lets go for it. Next season with a competent manager and hopefully an injury free season, he will take the league by storm.

Leif 6,006
every player should and probably would celebrate to the extent he did, because who wouldn't celebrate when they score in the last minute or 2 vs United to bring home at least a point? my stupid point being, that Costa wasn't showing some awe-inspiring passion for the team, he was just showing excitement for himself & his ego getting a goal, like a lot of players. Fair play obviously, but i was cringing at the rounds on Twitter with a picture of Costa captioned "This is what passion looks like." No, that's what scoring a goal looks like. stroey

Simeone + a top quality creative force behind him and our attack would be absurd. A player in the #10 position who is actually prolific statistically would change us completely. Oscar is just way too inconsistent. Think about how dangerous Costa would look with an Özil type behind him. Fabregas has played well there recently but I still feel he's better further back. We need someone who defenders need to account for at all times and can free up Diego. Tomo

Jase 43,479
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/12/diego-costa-breaks-nose-chelsea-training-newcastle The striker was injured in a clash of heads with the 18-year-old Canadian youth-team defender Fikayo Tomori, who had been promoted to the senior set-up to make up the numbers at Cobham. Costa had his custom-made mask fitted on Friday and will take part in a light training session on Friday afternoon to adjust to it, with the interim manager, Guus Hiddink, confident the Spain international should be able to feature in Saturday’s teatime kick-off. Costa will join Gary Cahill, Nemanja Matic and César Azpilicueta in sporting facial protection this season, with players such as Cesc Fàbregas and Demba Ba having worn masks in recent seasons. “Diego got into a duel and had his nose broken,” said Hiddink. “It was not a tough duel but he put his nose on the back of the kid’s head. He was very unlucky and his nose was broken. He will return today. They’ll try and give him a mask as well ... we are a team with a lot of masks. A Zorro team. “He will come back and do some light training in the afternoon because he must experience how he deals with the mask. Then he will join us in the hotel later on. It was just a small incident, just a duel. But it’s very fragile when you hit your nose on the back of the head of a ‘firm’ young man. I think he will be available. We’ll see how he reacts this afternoon in a very light session, but I hope – I’m not sure – that he will be available.”
