Belgiannutt 3,201
Ffs. Next month when Spain call up Costa again we should just tell them to fuck off. Second time we've gotten him back injured. iseah100

kellzfresh 7,229
This first half, No Costa and all of a sudden we play like last season. We can now see who our best player is. There's a reason why goalscorers are the most expensive players.
Namika 922
We miss him working the channels. Remy isn't good at it. Hopefully back for MU away. kellzfresh, Barbara and Ainsley Harriott

We can now see who our best player is. There's a reason why goalscorers are the most expensive players.I disagree. We still dominated the game, created chances and put Palace under pressure. Obviously Remy is no Costa but he still played well and contributed in his own ways. He held up the ball well and played others in. The team can't just be adapted to Costa alone but also the likes of Remy and even Drogba. Otherwise, what's the point of having different kind of strikers in the side if the team can only play a way that suits one type of striker? There's a reason why goalscorers are the most expensive players. We are reliant on Matic, Cesc, Hazard and Costa but in a good way. With those 4 I feel we can win any game, take one out and theres s little bit of doubt.Compared to 2 years ago when we needed both Hazard and Mata playing else it meant almost certain dropped points it's definitely a good luxury. Hazard was fouled constantly like against astonvilla so his influence was reduced because of it. We got better in the second half, but I gave that analysis at halftime. Remy started making smart turns after the break instead of trying to hold up play like costa does, but I can't really judge because it was 10 vs 10 at that point with more space for the teams. Him holding up the play and linking with others was nothing wrong either. Part of his game too and he did well. Glad that we have strikers who are more than one-dimensional. Would be appalled if we only have poacher-like strikers as back-ups.

Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted October 18, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted October 18, 2014 I don't get why people are mad at del Bosque... I mean, this is the dynamics of International football. If Costa played two full matches (basically) is because he could do as much.Mourinho mentioned fatigue before the match today, not a hamstring situation.Do I like he has to go to Spain? No, I actually hate it, but there's nothing new in him going and if he's too tired to play, we can only hope he recovers soon. Del Bosque didn't do anything bad imo, after all Mourinho also chose to play Diego 3 times in 8 days... It sucks, but it is what it is. I just felt if that freekick didnt go in, it would have been more difficult than we thought considering the lack of chances in the first half. The red cards worked in our favor. At least we won.
