11Drogba 2,000
We need more strong players like Costa not weaklings like Pedro, Cuadrado or Salah. Barbara, Blue Armour, AWorriedChelseaFan and 1 other
LAM09 7,056
His fight is what I love. 11 players with his appetite would pull us over the line. Barbara
OneMoSalah 8,886
Fault him for limitations, certain incidents etc but he got us back into that game and his attitude, which many on here criticize, could be a big factor in where we finish this year. I'd like to see a few others step up and give the same sort of effort and play with that aggressiveness he did in the match. Guus has helped get him back among the goals and long may it continue. Blue Armour, The Skipper, King11Didier and 1 other
DYC. 7,542
Hiddink seems to have the same effect on Costa as he had on Drogba in 09. Now the rest of the team.

Tomo 21,751
So Costa starts scoring and Lukaku hits a mini dry spell, all off a sudden Lukakus thread goes a bit quiet Paq and zolayes were banned at the wrong time, wish they were still here now for their comments in this thread alone, safeto say Paq would be pretty smug right now and rightly so. Special Juan 28,141
Todays performance was the least we should expect of a player like him. Like Cesc, it means fuck all if they do fuck all next game....pull us up, drag us on and be the warrior we want you to be. ZanSnake 1,211
Here's hoping he's gonna be alright. 5 in 5 is a good stat when it's game over a month... not one over three or four of them.
xPetrCechx 13,571
Diego Costa has scored five goals in his five appearances under Guus Hiddink this season. Â

Wow, zoyales was banned as well Also, not much to say about Lukaku, doesn't play badly, just didn't score. Could have scored that last one if the other guy hadn't done it for him I guess. Stats 7,142
Was like the Watford game. He was poor before he scored the goal and was so frustrating then after he scored, grew so much into the game. What a goal does to a player's confidence is amazing. MefiX19 1,092
Bringing back Diego to form is biggest thing that Guus did. He Tibo and Eden is our best players. And as others said its amazing what confidence does, even Cesc is looking like player who can do something and even put few takles! I really hope Eden gets back after this injury. Eidur the Spider 4,515
Press Association Sport understands the results [for Costa] show no fracture and just bruising. #CFC #AFC (Mail) Costa reported for treatment at Chelsea's Surrey training base on Sunday, despite the squad being given 2 days' off by Hiddink. #CFC (Mail) Chelsea striker Diego Costa could face a spell out with a bruised tibia. #CFC (Mail) Muzchap
