kroos adds new dimensions to the game. maybe they want to turn to a more ball-holding game rather than dynamic bring it up and see what happens game (as di maria has played it). futhermore he was on the market for a good price. top-notch addition. and more so if Di Maria wants to leave the club. You need to add something new to a team, to motivate it after such a sucess (Bayern did it with Pep etc). Thats how it works.

And Kroos is surely no answer to Suarez but just a good addition. I wouldnt the transfer of James though, because he hasnt got a place in the current 4-3-3.
