kellzfresh 7,229
Fantastic today. Lampard-esque runs into the box, controlling the match with passes and shots from outside the box. Man of the match 11Drogba, DYC., xPetrCechx and 1 other

BlueLyon 9,359
At first I was certain for him to be sold (or at least not play in first 11) and instead get someone like Verratti, but since the later wont be available and if cesc keeps playing like this, we might just try to play 3 man midfield with Cesc Kante and another Kante type player next season. Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted February 26, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted February 26, 2017 Most importantly to me he showed the most desire. You read him saying that he wants to stay and fight for his place, normally it's the politically correct thing for dead men walking to say, but you really believe him and see it when he plays. He tries so hard to be useful on both ends and today he was. Undisputed motm for me. Barbara, dimmas, kellzfresh and 4 others

If you look at the City game this season, he was very influential. He just needs some players around him in midfield to relieve pressure and do the dirty work. Enter Kante, Pedro, Matic, Willian. Fabregas is easily our biggest goal threat from central midfield. And that's an asset to any top team. kellzfresh
KevinAshburner 1,270
Fabregas Great Character and Personality on and off The Field for Chelsea and Everytime he does Great Things for Chelsea. It Must Sting The Heart/Spirit and Soul of Arsenal Fans. Unionjack
LAM09 7,054
Has his flaws, but he offers a completely different dynamic to our midfield. I personally see him becoming our Pirlo with Kante & a summer buy doing his running for him should he stay.

Even up in MH you could see he was up for it and peeps around me were saying it too. Watching him took me back to going to see him at Highbury. Theres got to be a way to utilize him more whether its in a 3 man CM or a 352 I dunno but the way he played would be a crime not to use him more. This season he isn't a regular and the team of course isn't shit anymore, but not because Fabregas isn't playing that much, but because Conte rules. Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted February 28, 2017 Author Popular Post! Share Posted February 28, 2017 Conte has been using him correctly since bringing him back into the side. Mourinho and Hiddink started him constantly whenever he was fit and while his uses are obvious also is his flaws and on some occasion's they stand out like a sore thumb and that's putting it mildly (that City game last year was particularly horrendous, De Bruyne constantly treated him like a training cone). Conte has been using him in games/circumstances where he can be of use and leaving him out of games where he can't and hopefully he can convince him to stay for 2/3 more years for that role. I think Fabregas would be able to play regularly if we get an upgrade to Matic. Someone like Vidal or Nainggolan. But the bad thing is we will lose a winger like Pedro. But that's the only way I see Fabregas playing as a starter if we got a player like those two mentioned. the wes

Chelsea? 892
He needs to play more but his current role fits him perfectly. Start him in home games against lesser teams or bring him on when we need a goal. Other than that, Go with Matic.

No wonder he didn't fit Barca with their tiki-taka bs, not in his DNA to slowball. Barbara, The Skipper, Unionjack and 3 others
