He shouldn't even be playing at u21 level, too good for it. Many have compared him to Lampard or Ballack, i'd say it's probably a mixture of the two. He's one of my favourite young players.

For someone that never played with us yes its a good deal. 

However it's a pity that he never got a chance, it is why I'm happy with Lampard. He gives chances to these younger players that in the past never got it with past managers.

We've sold him for 15m euros. Haven't read about a buyback clause

Never earned one.

That said, I think I read recently that he has no regrets about the Chelsea move. It's been a while, but he's found the team for him. I hope he goes on to have a storming career.
