Tomo 21,751
It won't make much difference to us whether he goes now or see's out his contract. If he stays until they end of the season he will make 4 subsitute apperances if even that. Slam Dunk 1,442
Decent finish as well. He seems to play much better with the national team, probably because he has the fans on his side. On a side note; I'd take Kalou over Gervinho every day of the week, he's been terrible.Edit: He's just come off injured. Pulled up clutching his hamstring I think. Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted January 28, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted January 28, 2012 Your all going to slate me for this but we need to bring him in for now up front,or as rotation with Danny, Torres and Didier both need benching.Torres and Drogba just aren;'t scoring, we need GOALS, and for all his other faults Kalou gets them, yes he is frustraing and yes he not the next Henry bla bla bla bla bla bla but really who gives a fuck? we need some and i quote "lucky tap ins" right now. LDN Blue 7,903
Can't agree. It's simply too frustrating. Bosingwa & Kalou shouldn't be anywhere near our squad at the moment. Term-X, Rambo and Kostas

Kalou should never in a million years be a starter... as a sub, okay, how much worse can things get, but as a starter - NO.
Tomo 21,751
Im sorry but we need goals right now, Torres and Drogba this season have frustrated us for 90 minutes, Kalou has been well known to frustrate us for 89, thats the difference. xPetrCechx and capriccioso

He's simply not that player when he plays for us though. The negatives of his contribution for the club certainly outweigh the positives he provides us. Yeah he'll get the odd goal now and then, but he's also frustrate with giving the ball away recklessly, unable to dribble and unable to cross (he's, in actual fact, a winger.). Well done to him for having an impact for Ivory Coast, but he doesn't have one when he plays for us.
capriccioso 2,545
These lucky tap ins are chances Fernando Torres can't convert. I'd rather see him start than Torres, at least he can score from within six yards. Tomo

Popular Post! LDN Blue 7,903 Posted January 29, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted January 29, 2012 Guys, guys, guys. A moment of clarity please? DO YOU REMEMBER KALOU? Kalou. Kalou. Kalou. Kalou. I'm repeating this name so you all have the flashbacks of last season where a simple mention of his name was enough for everyone to get on "King Carlo"'s back. Let's look at one simple fact here; Kalou is not a centre forward He has never played there for us, nor will he ever. He is a winger, more specifically a right-side winger.. Who plays there? Oh yes. The prodigal son, Daniel Sturridge.André has made it perfectly clear Sturridge will not lead the line, so what do you all want? Sturridge to come out the squad? But hang on, we scrutinized Carlo left, right & centre when he did that. Kalou has been at this club for 6 years. In 6 years he hasn't grown in any kind of way, we all know it. BlueLion, the most optimistic Chelsea fan, perhaps, on this forum even knows Kalou is too frustrating beyond words. He's had a few sharp moments in 6 years and for that: Thank You Kalou. But the negative aspects of his play far outweigh the positives. And when that happens all of you of you will jump on André's back for playing him, don't pretend you won't! Now if some of you said Lukaku for Torres, I would understand that. But to pick a player, who got taken off in the 35th minute of a game, is beyond ludicrous./Rant. manpe, Kostas, francozola and 2 others
