Flavour of the season so far tbh.

It was always going to come back to haunt us (form he was in prior to agreeing the deal & the actual price), but you have several around here that think Serie A is League 1 standard. He's now doing it in the Prem and those individuals are nowhere to be seen.

To suggest we were in the wrong to sell Salah would be similar to saying 'I can't believe Barcelona sold Ibrahimovic!', or 'Barcelona were mad to sell Maxwell!', since he became PSG's leader and pivotal player. At the time, they would've held the clubs back from consistent dominance.

We'd never see Bayern/Madrid/Barcelona go in for Salah even now at his very best, anyway. For a reason.

ONLY thing that matters here is Barca had Villa and Alba/Abidal instead of Ibra and Maxwell.

We had Willian and Oscar instead of Salah and Kdb. 

Thats one big difference if you ask me. 

No one will miss Salah and Kdb if we brought top quality players instead. But we didnt.

And it definately feels sour now that we dont have those two. 

No one regrets selling Lukaku because we had Costa and now Morata, so we replaced him greatly.

With Kdb and Salah, they turned into fantastic players. The board was stupid first to let them go and secondly incapable to bring young(er) quality RW and AM to Chelsea.
