kellzfresh 7,229
I was gutted he came off, wrong decision for me.Should have stayed on, Schurrle isnt consistent and I thought he was doing well.Thank goodness I wasn't the only one who noticed this. He is our best chance of getting behind the defence. We got so much worse when he left

He has had like 3 good games for us, the rest has been awful.I agree about Schurle, he probably has no more than 5 good games, but about Salah, I dont think he was a necessary signing, and I think Schurle is a better player, and I if Schurle had "like 3 good games" as you said, how many good games Salah had for us? Henrique 9,133
Well, Salah hasn't played more than about 5 games for us (correct me if I'm wrong), so comparing their stats at this point of time to figure out who's played more good games for us isn't going to shed any light tbh. Both came at different points of time in different circumstances, after all. In regards to being a necessary signing, I disagree. We'd just lost Kdb and Mata. And getting a young, talented, speedy and somewhat proven attacking midfielder for cheap who's already caused us so much trouble just recently was a great thing, not only necessary.I predict him to have some chances in the beginning of the next season, then sitting on the bench after some poor peformances. Going on loan 2015/16 season to take more experience, then who knows whats gonna happen next. You are right about the comparision between both players, but why someone is sayin Salah is better option than Schurle? It seems you did not get the point of my reply.

nazzab 180
Schurrle aged 23 - played 28 games for chelsea is compared to the 21 salah who played 6 games ... 3 of them played for like 20 minutes ?! Mohammed Seif and kellzfresh

He has had like 3 good games for us, the rest has been awful.I think 18m for Schurrle was decent business. He has 7 goals and one assist in 13 starts. In addition to that he's also put in big performances - the super cup match against Bayern ( where he assisted Torres' goal) and also his performance at home against PSG. What else do you want from a squad player? guddy6969, MAF, Mohammed Seif and 1 other

Popular Post! Mohammed Seif 1,451 Posted April 23, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 23, 2014 I frankly don't see the point of comparing the values of Salah and Schurrle. I think that is totally irrelevant and deceiving anyways. Schurrle is a good player and he has proven to be useful for the team in a lot of games. Being useful doesn't necessarily mean always scoring and assists. His runs on alone can force defenders to go out of position allowing an opportunity else where for a teammate to take advantage of that.On the other hand Salah is also a good player for Chelsea and proved he can be of some use. It is early to say if he is going to be starter or a sub. It is also TOO early for anyone even EXPERTS to say that he would be poor in the future. People should be optimistic from what he has showed up till now. Started 3 games and he did well in all 3 (though the last game wasn't his best out of them). The kid shows that he has a lot of potential and it remains to see how much of a player he would turn out to be. That can only be told as time goes by. At a young age like his it means 3-4 years till he is close to being fully developed. So I don't see the rush in judging him. Same applies for Oscar, Schurrle and Hazard. So people really need to chill a bit when judging players like Salah, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard and others at their age. duren batu, zolayes, LAB and 7 others
BlueLyon 9,359
Should play Schurrle-Oscar-Salah vs Pool. It could be deadly but only if those three wont be selfish and actualy play as a team. Mohammed Seif

OneMoSalah 8,886
I loved this guys performance vs Swansea (ok it was a few weeks ago but yeah).Hes a bundle of energy, full of pace, attacks spaces very well and in 1v1s he looks like he is difficult to stop without fouling due to the fact he can shift the ball so quickly. His finishing was a bit erratic with the chances he had especially when he skied that chance in the first half vs Swansea but I still think that's something Mourinho could iron out of him. Obviously hoping he starts against Liverpool on the right he could cause Daniel Agger/John Flanagan a whole lot of problems with his willingness to run in behind them and take them on in 1v1s.
