cosmicway 1,333
Arsenal could make a sort of come back, like Spurs did after their dismal performences against us and against Benfica.Unless the give-away to city-matchitis is to reach epidemic proportions. JDY 1,290
As a few said on the previous pages, there's something about Swansea away that I just don't like.
Yeboii 1,844
I think we will win the league, just a feeling. If we don't I won't mind though, we have a great platform to go to the next season.
didierforever 7,349
3rd? Mourinho is supposed to do better than RDM and Benítez. He already has. We are in the quarterfinals of CL and compared to the 75 points in 38 games last season we have 69 in 31 games. We were in a close 3rd/4th fight where as we are in a title race now. So mourinho has already done better.
Jase 43,479
Hindsight eh! If we had to play United after everyone, including themselves, realised they were crap we'd probably have got the 3 points. Let's not forget that we hit the crossbar in both those games though - Schurrle v. United and Lampard v. Arsenal. Fine margins. It's funny. If we had beaten some of the lesser sides that we dropped points against and sitting further clear right now, people wouldn't even be complaining about those 2 games against United and Arsenal. Getting a point away from home against your rival (at least back then) is not a bad result. Admittedly, the approach in the two said games weren't probably the best but circumstances then dictated we played such way. Maybe we should just gone out there and attack them. We might have won or maybe even lose by a couple of goals, that would please some people I supposed..

I think we have showed some brilliance, but are a long way from a finished product - next season with a striker (how many years have I said this?) things will improve again Just wish we had got 1 point against Villa - can see City dropping points - but 4 - that's unlikely - maybe 2 points, getting a draw at Anfield.. Rmpr 8,977
has to be. Very pivotal. It took city 2 results away from us, not just one.Not really, because it wasnt just against Villa that we dropped silly points...What about WBA twice? West Ham? Newcastle? Stoke? Etc.Every game is worth the same amount of points, no matter when they are played. Had we won against WBA at least at home, losing to Villa wouldnt have been such a tremendously bad result. If we lose the title, the Villa loss will be only ONE of the reasons why... Rmpr 8,977
City have some though matches, let's stay optimistic! they can drop 4 points Again, that is not the point!City has to lose 4 points, but we have to win 7 straight games (being one at Anfield).Do you honestly think we will go 100% until the end of the season? That villa game took all the pressure off them. While it might not be the only result but it will be a mega important result considering the time of that.if city had lost the PL on the last day vs qpr, you would not have to say that the qpr game itself was a "PIVOTAL" game in deciding the PL. while the villa game is not as massive as that one, it still would have a major impact on the coming weeks. giving city and pool the confidence while taking away the pressure. Term-X 7,891
Southampton's home game with City was tight, they drew but could/should have taken all 3, Pochettino is a top coach, hence why Spurs and co now want him.
Sidzeret 2,257
The Arse- City clash is going to be vital. If Le Voyeur and company can't take atleast a point from City, then its game over for us this season.

Not to mention fixtures against the likes of Southampton who (as mentioned above) poses a manager in high demand and have rightfully taken points from them already this season. boshman 1,073
Arsenal get stuffed by 6 to one of their biggest rivals then lose another 2 points in the next game with a last minute OG. They are going to be chomping at the bit to get into the next game and put that right surely? Maybe i say that more in hope than expectation. CHOULO19 24,332
The matches I think City my drop points are Southampton, Liverpool and Everton. We probably need them to drop points at all of them to win the title. Still comfortably theirs to lose.

We probably need them to drop points at all of them to win the title. Still comfortably theirs to lose. They are extremely unlikely to drop points to Southampton at home. If they had to play them away can side with you but at the Etihad I reckon City will give them a roasting. Especially with Southampton's open style of play. They're missing Koscielny, Ramsey, Walcott, Wilshere & Ozil. Those are 5 of their best players.

Before United, it was mentioned a million times that they had United, it being a Mnachester derby and United players turing up and all. But, obviously, it didn't happen because City's belief is sky high. After Arse, I don't think they'll drop points till Anfield.Wait till they fucking blow away Southampton and Everton.
