Finally ETO IS BACK

Don't get me wrong, I fully admit I have been very critical of him. Even today when I saw he was playing, i thought "..oh no..". If you look at my past posts about him, i dont dislike him, i was always willing him to do well, i want him and Chelsea to prosper but he really wasn't showing his past talent.

Today he was the Etoo of old, he was quick, sharp and deserved that hat trick. I fully pat him on the back, i was cheering him as I would any player. It was a great performance by him, he finally ditched those pound shop batteries and got some duracells in him. Very impressed, really hope this kicks him on. Also with Torres now out this is his chance to really show the haters like me, haha he still has plenty in the tank.

What's hilarious about his selection yesterday was many on Twitter went mad that Mourinho selected him over Torres, having scored in previous 2 league games, and then all went quiet about once Eto'o got those goals.

The second goal was particularly quality. A typical striker/poacher like goal.

Well fucking done mate! I couldn't understand why so much negative reactions when Jose started Samuel, fuck his form, he is a class above Fernando at the moment. His positioning and movement is one of the best I've ever seen in my life when it comes to strikers. It surprised me the amount of critique he has gotten when you take into consideration that he came from Russia into the most phyisically demanding league. Considering his years, I'm actually surprised he has adapted so well.

I said months ago that he could be a hidden gem for us, now I don't think he is what we need but he's what we have got and we have to use him in a style of yesterday and now with Torres out he needs along with Ba to step up. Had a bit of a pale patch a few weeks ago but still posses that spark of quality every now and again.

This three goals from yesterday might just be what he needed.

Reminds me of Essien cracker against Barcelona back in 2009. He scored and ran to our bench to Mikel. Afterwards he revealed that before the game Mikel had told him that he was going to score that night. Maybe Demba told Eto'o the very same.
