Milan 17,958
He is a true gentleman and my lord, a true fighter. Hats off for playing the whole game only a couple of days after the injury. Barbara

BloodIsBlue 291
Even back at the start of he season I was shocked the board accepted his salary, 7m is a lot. If he pushes to go somewhere else I am sure we will not fight for his signature, at least in terms of wages we won't pay him more than we already do that's for sure. We could use him on so many levels and he's a good influence on our boys. I hope Inter consider taking him back (should he have his heart set of a move away from the bridge) it might give them more reason to sing Mikel. CHOULO19 24,332
I think Jose will try to keep him. They know each other inside out and I imagine Jose just loves working with him. Go back to the celebration of Ba's goal on Tuesday, everyone was jumping around like crazy but only Eto'o knew why Jose had run half way down the pitch. He actually grabs Jose and asks him where he's supposed to be after the restart.Incredible professional and one of the smartest players not just in Chelsea but probably in football. BlueLyon 9,359
Too bad we got him this late...when he left Inter, he was still world class striker...he isnt just a striker, but much more; he looks like Mourinho's assistant and leader in attack. Cosmin 2,484
Chelsea look set to lose striker Samuel Eto’o at the end of the season after he opened talks with Besiktas over a move. The 33-year-old, whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer, has established himself as the Blues’ top scoring striker this term with 12 goals. But despite Jose Mourinho hinting that he might offer the experienced frontman a new deal, Besiktas are keen to snatch him away. The Turkish club are believed to have flown senior officials to London this week to hold negotiations with Eto’o, with a two-year contract on the table. It’s not clear whether he would be keen on a move to Turkey, but the security of a 24 month contract as well as the possibility to join the coaching staff after would make the switch attractive.Besiktas have close links with Chelsea and they have been trying to bag a big name striker for months, having held talks with the club over Demba Ba during the January window.Metro
different level 1,056
I haven't read the thread in a while, but this guy deserves a credit for improving so much in the last couple of months. He clearly showed us, why he's a top striker, scoring some important goals - the hattrick against United, the winner against Liverpool, the opening goals against Gala, Arsenal and Spurs. I really hope Sammy stays for another season with us. kellzfresh

CHOULO19 24,332
It's in our hands really. If we want to renew his contract, I am certain that he will stay.
Special Juan 28,141
Needs to say for experience alone, he's been and done it and is still doing it. Bring in a world class striker and Lukaku back and it's game on.

Sheva. 5,373
Misses many big chances, which don't exactly help our cause against the lesser teams. But no doubt he's our best striker at home, he usually at least plays a part in 1 goal. Yeboii 1,844
I was not surprised at all that he scored a goal. When he starts at Stamford Bridge, I just wait for him to put that ball inside the goal. Great striker when you weight in his age and all.
