Thor 2,704
That finish. He deserves a lot of credit for that. Not the best angle to shoot, but he slotted it perfectly. I thought he was really good against City. Did really well on the wing with Moses pushing through and getting around City players when they got tired around the 60th minute mark. They were both really good from that point.

The Skipper 20,609
Great finish, very good goal. He's a good player. I wish we could fuse Pedro and Willian, would be the perfect RF player. kellzfresh

WBA is on good form and we must not underestimate them. It worked for us 7 games, Pedro did his job very well every game bar City, so I would not drop him just yet. I dont think Conte will either. It would also create pressure if someone was dropped just after one poor half, so there's that. But if Pedro wont perform, I would switch to Willian at half time and see how he does. I was far from impressed with him against Spurs last week, but if he turns up like against City, then I would definately consider him to start games soon. Unionjack 7,531
Its a very difficult decision between Willian and Pedro Isn't it. I also thought the same between Oscar and Wilian once tho too. I do hope that Willian gets another game or 2 just to see how he would work in the system against the more average clubs. But right now I'm pleased about yesterday. Had a real good game and atook the goal briliantly.. Sent us all bonkers at the ground literally. Was like a big shot of Tequilla and a sniff of poppers. Blue Armour 4,439
At least for Dec, I think both Willian and Pedro will both get a fair amount of chances with fixture congestion. Fulham Broadway
CHOULO19 24,332
I was most happy for Willian on Saturday because he's been really struggling on the pitch since his mom passed away. Great to see him regain some form. We will definitely need him to be on his top game this month. The Skipper

Popular Post! Styles 9,790 Posted December 14, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted December 14, 2016 Never seems to make the right decision sometimes. Even the 'assist' to Fabregas was an awful decision; what attacker in that position doesn't control the ball and shoot themselves? He is so lucky Fabregas saved the day because the criticism would have been through the roof. He could have played Costa in a few times but he keeps running into dead ends or making bad choices. I like Willian but games like this make me understand why some don't rate him. The Chels, lucio, Abreu03 and 11 others

Conte either needs to make him a squad player or sell him off entirely. He's been here like for 3 years and it's probably fair to say he has barely improved. I like Willian but games like this make me understand why some don't rate him. I agree with most of this, as Willian's decision-making in the final-third has always been one of his key weaknesses. I don't quite agree with your assessment of the contribution he made to our goal today, however, as I actually thought it was an uncharacteristically sharp bit of play: Fabregas had the better angle and more of the goal to aim at (because Djilobodji was closing Willian down in anticipation of an extra touch or a shot). And despite it otherwise being 'one of those games' as far as some of Willian's decision-making is concerned, he's generally been outperforming the previously excellent Pedro over the last few matches (Man City and Sunderland specifically). Not sure I'd bring him into the starting line-up just yet, mind, as I think Pedro fits the system slightly better, but he's beginning to ask the question whilst Pedro's beginning to flag. DDA 9,938
He passed back to Fabregas because he doesn't trust his own ability to go on and do something magical. He also doesn't have the footballing intelligence to make up for his lack of ability. In result he is bang average in nearly every aspect of his footballing catalouge. He can dribble at speed and hit a ball well. That is it. Blue-in-me-Veins and kellzfresh
