LOL GK needing a rest. Is his fitness is so horrible that punching the ball not even 5 times in an hour and a half make him that tired? Come on guys we know Cech is not resistant to any injury by any chance but suggesting a rest after he had a walk of a match is just too much...

No professional GK should ever need to rest because they doesn't even run around 90 mins like the out field players, the only time they will be rested is so the back up GK have a chance to play a match or too.

No. He does not get game time while there is an important PL game. This is not pre-season anymore, hello. This is back to serious business now and when Cech is fit for a PL game he has to play, even though Schwarzer is a very good keeper. He will not play, Cech will and rightly so. The PL and CL are arguably the most important trophies for us so why would we go about rotating keepers?

Schwarzer, Azpi, Iva, Cahill, Bert, Essien, Ramires, Schurrle, Oscar, KDB, Lukaku.

Those that played on Sunday will be rested for manures. Of course, Luiz & Mata in then.

Love how you are fielding a team like it is a Capital One game. Villa just BEATEN ARSENAL 3-1 AT EMIRATES... in case you didn't know. Even with full strength team out we will not win easily like last season, let alone a sub team...

Not rest only, Schwarzer should play to get into the games. Read better next time.

Why should he? he is called ''back up'' for a reason. We shouldn't rotate just for the sake of it. You want it to be like the fat waiter reign all over again?

Chelsea will play around 60 games this season. It would be advisable to see Schwarzer getting some play time.

Certainly, you may see it, then.
