Thats hardly an argument. If theres 3 pieces of shit, you aint going to say I pick this one because it doesnt smell as bad.

We need a class striker, end of. Lukaku isnt the finished product we all hoped he would be. He still has time to develop.

So, we go on and get this 'world class striker'. Then what? Does that all of a sudden solve our midfield issue? Does that solve our poor transition when our players are under pressure? Will that 'world class striker' find a way to somehow not be isolated and link up with the midfield and provide goals? Might as well sign Messi.

I'm bloody happy with the strikers we have now. Only signing I wished deeply to have fallen through was the De Rossi or Alonso deal. That would have given enough time for both DeBryune and Van Ginkel to develop in their roles.

one of the best strikers around for his age. of course he shoudlnt be relied on as number one but he is still very useful to have.

May I introduce you to one of the most useful functions of this forum, the IGNORE. It's really helpful against the cunts, no point raging and getting yourself banned when you can simply add them morons to the ignore lists and continue your intellectual discussions with the rest of the forum.

Im not saying Lukaku doesnt have potential, ofcourse he has. But at this moment in time he isnt good enough.

Good news. He is very good player.

Why is it good? It's only a meaningless friendly and playing against proper opponents is what makes the team better and more comfortable playing together, especially the midfielders. Playing against a three man midfield De Rossi - Strootman - Pjanic should be a good workout for our lads, I for one hope all of those three play.
