brunodiaslb 28
I'm a Benfica fan, big rival of Sporting Lisbon but damn, this guy is so f*cking good! He's much more talent than Nani at that age, the last one I remember being so good or even less good is Cristiano Ronaldo. Never been so excited with a portuguese young talent, I mean if Bruma was teached by a someone like Alex Ferguson he just became a world class player! He is unbeaten at one on one situations, play well with both foot, is a team player and score goals, just need to grow up like Ronaldo. For the people who say 15M is much money for him just think how muche did Ronaldo cost ten years ago. The quality is expensive and Bruma have so much! Greatings from a Benfica's fan. We could loan him for a few years, but we have six attacking midfielders/wingers in our squad(Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Moses, KDB, Schürrle). They are all 22-23 years old, so they can stay here for long years.
BlueLyon 9,359
In couple of years, price could go up to 20mio+...Besides, I think that if young portugal prospects want to become top players, they must leave at young age to a good club with good manager and lot of playing time. For Ronaldo, being coached by Saf and play regular (at age 19 in first season at ManU he already had around 25 games in PL, lot of gained experience). On other hand, if player stays too long (like hulk who had tons of potential), he never fulfils potential. League isnt that competitive and coaches/staff cant fulfill their potential unlike Saf who did with ronaldo. Getting Bruma would be good only if he gets at least 25 games next season and lot of trust from Mou. After all, Mou is portugese and would understand with Bruma excelently

I guess the same applies to Di Maria.Hulk played for 4 years in Japan (!!) and when he arrived he was pathetic. His 1st season was terrible and Porto really made him the beast he is.Portuguese staff is among the best. With (way) fewer resources we are competitive in Europe and develop our talents good enough. Hulk, Witsel, Moutinho and James to name few. ITs true that Portugal makes top players but once they get on top, your clubs put ridiculous prices for them and no one wants to buy them but some crazy russians or Monaco...if those players mentioned before wouldbe available for reasonble prices, all of them would play in top leagues. What we have now? James and Moutinho in Monaco, Witsel and Hulk in Zenit. Because portugal clubs sell to best dealer no matter what. And finaly, Di Maria last year was world class, what are you on about? While Coentrao only puts great performances for country (in WC, euros) and 2/10 games for club. Portugal makes good players but they put ridiculous prices nowdays...its better to leave when you still have chance to join top club for reasonable price than to evolve in portugal, get 40mio clause and eventualy get shipped to Russia in the end... Why blame portuguese clubs? We do whatever we can to remain strong and that means sell for the best price... Of course. If someone is willing to pay crazy money why refuse?? That would be poor management. On the other hand players that leave too early usually do bad at top clubs... (Quaresma, Simao - Barcelona; Anderson, Nani - Man. Utd; Hugo Viana - N'Castle etc.)Di maria hadn't a great season. He was a sub most of the time and didn´t have a decent run of games with consistency as he had for Benfica. Portuguese clubs don't get that much TV money. I heard they have to sell every year to stay afloat.

Strike 7,533
Bruma seems like a good flair player. An improvement on Moses but we're fairly strong in the AM department all of a sudden with Schurrle and KDB coming in. Wouldn't mind him though. Very talented with raw pace and balance

Magic Lamps 11,692
this would be a nice signing. Taking him on a free would be even better as it would be a slap in the face of these Portugese clubs and their ridiculous 100mio buyout clauses for every chump. magic weeds 446
Not really, i think he is a free agent at the end of this month! Well, that is the controversy surrounding his contract. Sporting believe his contract ends next summer, but Bruma's representative (Lawyer) claims it ends on 31st july 2013. The whole saga might go to FIFA unless the situation is resolved amicably. Apparently, there is to be a meeting between the two parties, but Sporting WANT Bruma to be present at the meeting. In the meantime, Porto are also monitoring the situation and are ready to pounce whenever an apportunity arises.... the saga continues
