Agreed mostly, I wouldn't say the overhyping of him is sickening because I understand it, Schurrle seems like a really nice, hard working guy, has the makings of a top player and seems genuinely passionate about CFC, so automatically people will be enamoured with him, which is okay IMO. Schurrle will definitely have a huge role next season but our starting RW (which will likely come down between the two of Schurrle and Willian) isn't as set in stone as some have made it seem. It's still a 50/50 to me. In fact, I'm certain that at the end of the season they'll have similar minutes due to their versatility.

They do both need to step it up though for CFC, including Oscar. Massive season coming up for all three - I wouldn't be too surprised if those that don't perform will be replaced next season.

I have some fears, if our ams don't step up in terms of finishing chances they get, I think we will go into the market in January for another am. We can't just expect only costa to score to land us the title, costa and fabregas/hazard/Oscar/schurlle all our starting ams need 12-17 goals each for us to land the title.

its kinda funny that u putting certain numbers for no. of goals and assist for each player but whatever.....but didnt u know that last season our ams scored about 30 goals alone without strikers which means our ams are fine... thats why our aim this season was getting better strikers.... and with addition of fabregas now we will have more creativity and better assist too..i still think we need to sign one more striker with costa i cant trust drogba or torres if he got injured

I did not watch Salah when he was in basedl and he did not play enough game for us last season for me to judge wether he is better on the left or right.

Those are all games where he stepped up and was direct and dangerous. He needs to do more of that which he should when you bear in mind Mourinho and Loew both alluded to him working hard on his fitness last season.

If you look at the post I quoted, it was about his offensive contributions... I just highlighted it to showcase some of his better games here.

My point is no one was screaming that Schurrle is a million times better than Willian at the end of last season, and that opinion has swiftly changed based on a WC, and 45 mins of pre season. It's ridiculously over exaggerated IMO.
