When will people realize that it's nearly impossible for right footed wingers to score goals when they are played on the right wing? Schurrle/Willian are similar players to Hazard/Ronaldo. They're all wingers who like to cut in and shoot with their right foot. It's no rocket science why Willian and Schurrle are not effective when they are played on the right wing. The best they can do is take on a player and get a good cross in the box.

Schurrle and Willian are not bad players, they are just played out of position.Willian has immense stamina, work rate and dribbling. Schurrle's dribbling is average but his positioning/runs are class.

You need a left footed winger like Robben to be effective on the right wing. Cuadrado is not the answer.

I'd take a jesus navas on the right , causing problems with speed and dribbling , playing the ball across goal any day , over some idiot cutting inside and slicing shots.

No one is asking him to score 15-20 goals by himself like Reus, at least 5 goals and double figure for assists is an minimum of a Chelsea quality player.

Have a look on Bluemoon bro...you WOULD NOT WANT HIM. He is basically worse than Schurrle, the Spanish Valencia as I like to call it

Players like him shouldn't struggle against teams like Shrewsbury......But he did, and a other games too.

Cause half our team didn't struggle against them and Bradford.

He did that last season.

Not necessarily him then , but a player of his ilk. Even if he apparently sucks , he always looks threatening , and his width is an outlet. And cuadradro has managed to score a decent amount playing wide right.

Navas is pretty fast but unfortunately, he doesn't know how to use it effectively. He's like the Walcott of old - all pace but no brain. Not to mention, his end product is woeful. Deny him the space and he's pretty much a passenger in the team (cue a Navas goal this Saturday...).

are you referring to the same Navas that can't cross a bridge? Not sure why you are dirtying up this thread w/ this guy. Let's keep the topic on Zie German or I am going to run & tell the moderators...oh wait :Goober:
