Moscow...and even worse didnt see the miss till at the Bridge and they had this montage video of what seemed to be depressing moments..and that was just ahhhh the fact VDS went the wrong way and wasnt that far off...but we could've ended up stuck with Grant with no Clarke...
The 1-1 draw with Barca..being next to them in the East Lower was bloody hard!Look one way its pure joy the other complete devestation!
Drogba leaving and the fact we havent replaced him and look pretty screwed
Jose sacking for no reason...Wilkins sacking..for no reason...RDM sacking..maybe a reason but so far not making a difference...

Loosing to West Ham first time in yonks...coming out at Half time and looking pure crappa

Most have been said, but a real disappointment for me was travelling up to Barnsley on the club train that was ridiculously slow that took about 7 hours only to lose and be humiliated with a pitch invasion to top it off.

The journey seemed a lot slower on the way back........

Although after the game it was great fun at the train station singing songs and bouncing. The Barnsley fans were in disbelief we were still in such high spirits

Two worst were Moscow and the semi-final versus Barca. After that, it depends how long you've been following and what bothers you the most. The 2008 Carling Cup final against Spurs was a big blow because we were winning and because it was Spurs. Losing to Liverpool in the CL twice were both awful. I have to say also that this year as a cumulative thing, is up there. None of the losses this season have been among the worst individual moments, but it's been a miserable year altogether. Still, I'd prefer our worst moments being losing in the later stages of the Champions League as opposed to being relegated like they were for previous generations of fans.

Since summer 2007, when I really started following Chelsea, this are what I can now think as the worst and best moments:

Worst moments:

1. UCL Semi-final in 2009 - Injustice

2. Moscow - Very painful moment but I was very proud of the team, and after that night I knew I would follow this team all my life. I became even more connected with Chelsea.

3. The moment Terry was sent off at the Camp Nou and then Iniesta's goal I really thought it was over, horrible feeling.

But I like to think more about the good moments, which are much more:

Best moments:

1. Drogba scoring the winning penalty in Munich

2. The revenge against Barça, but specially the moment when Torres was running by himself to score the 2-2, what happened that night was just unbelievable.

3. Lampard scoring a penalty in the extra time of the ucl semifinal of 2008 against Liverpool, it was a very emotional moment (Maybe the first great moment I lived as a Chelsea fan)

4. Lampard scoring the 4-4 against Liverpool,

5. Match against Napoli at home.

6. Drogba goal vs Manchester United at Old trafford to put us in the top of the league (2010)

7. Drogba scoring the wining goal (2-1) against arsenal in the fa cup semifinals of 2009. Every goal Drogba scored against Arsenal is worth mentioning.

...

And many, many, many more moments that for me have more weight than the bad ones.

That Moscow pain

That Barcelona semifinal pain

Losing the CWC final

these are obvious and I agree with everything mentioned above

to make it different, I will add following

Seeing Eidur Gudjohnsen leave this club

The fact Hasselbaink didn't get the chance to win the League with us - he deserved it as fuck!

The UCL Final in 08 will always be my worst memory and that will never be beat. The game the other day though against Corinthians came pretty close. Apart from that, in recent years its been all about UCL Semi's in 04, 05, 07 and 09 they were absolutely horrible but we got Liverpool back and we got Barca back so most of those have been dealt with. I just look at them as part of our history now as a good thing.

Before the Roman Era, my worst memory was that trick from Kanu. I'd not seen Chelsea beat Arsenal in the league knowing all my school mates and all my friends were gooners so this was my chance to finally enjoy a win over them. I didn't even know them when we last beat them in 95/96 so this would be my first. 2-0 up, 15 minutes to go, in stepped Kanu with 3 goals, the last being in stoppage time from an impossible angle.... The next season we were 2-0 up again and Silvinho scored in stoppage time to get a 2-2. We were cursed against them. From when i knew my mates from around 97', we never beat Arsenal until after i left secondary school (That UCL game). I knew loads more Arsenal fans in secondary school when i was there from 98/2003. We never beat them once. Knocked out the FA Cup even 3 years on the trot which included a Final in 2002. They game me my worst memories but again... recently we've dished out a lot of pain to them since so all good.

Also really memories for me are the FA Cup exits from 94-96.The FA Cup final of 1994, i was only young so don't really remember much of the game but i do remember crying so much but i loved Chelsea from that day. But in my first real season supporting Chelsea, we got knocked out by Millwall on pens after a replay. I'll never forget that. I still have the image of Kasey Keller saving John Spencer's decisive penalty, another truly awful moment in my life but i think the 96 Semi defeat to Man Utd hit me the most because i was well into Chelsea then and to beat Man Utd at that time was bigger than it would be now. Craig Burleys back pass is another image i'll never forget and Michael Duberry's curling shot against the bar.

We have won the FA Cup so many times now that they don't hurt as much but it would've been so nice to see more success in the 90's, that was my favourite time supporting Chelsea.

Other honourable mentions include...

Chelsea 3-5 Man Utd - FA Cup 3rd round 1997

Barnsley 1-0 Chelsea - FA Cup Quarter Final 2008

and our EUFA Cup exits against St Gallen, Hapoel Tel-Aviv and Viking Stavanger.

We need the bad moments though but ours have been truly heartbreaking.
