It will definitely not be easy. Its a cold December night and both Leeds players and fans will be hyped.

No it won't be easy, but it will be comfortable imo. Too much negativity based on previous games i think and we can get the job done here.

I like your optimism but we have too many players suspended. I mean Gary out would have been okay but no Ramires. Mikel and Terry still out, to top it all there is jet lag so i don't think it will be comfortable.

Comfortable? I doubt it. Doesn't matter who is playing for Leeds, they will raise their game, no doubt. Obviously with the quality in the squad that we have, this is a game we should win. But with the team morale low and injuries/suspensions we have, I can see us making this hard for ourselves.

Saying that, I do think we can win this, as long as we don't concede first.

Oh shit, I didn't realise this game was tonight!!! Thought it was tomorrow.

Gonna go buy a steak pie. Whenever we're away from home against a team we hate, I eat a pie of some kind. I guess it's a little 'tradition'.

Then post about the movement of that pie 12 hours later in the pub thread.

Leeds, like any team who play us, can win if they just come out and put us under pressure. It's worked for every team who have done it so far. Stop our time on the ball and we crumble. And you can bet your house Leeds will try this.

Not an easy game by a long shot.

But who knows, the players may put in a spirited performance to make up for Sunday. And then go back to being shit against Villa.

Pivot will be interesting .. no Ramires, Luiz (CB) or Mikel; Lampard + who? Hope it's not Oscar. Saville?

Lampard + Oscar in the double pivot will be crazy, but not like we have many other options. Maybe play Ferreira there?

Yeah...sack Benitez and then appoint who? Avram Grant? He is probably next in line.

Like it or not, Benitez is the best of the bad bunch of available managers out there at the moment.

I'd even welcome Grant. Seriously. Anybody but Interim. This is how bad it's become.

But one of these days, in the not too distant future, I'll wake up, log on to this site & I'll see a thread with a title something along the lines of:

Rafa Benitez - Now confirmed ex-Chelsea interim manager.

Just a little something to look forward to.

The pessimism today is extremely high... We must be optimistic.
