Fernando Torres

At this point in the whole Torres Football Dystopia I just want something positive to happen to the lad. It is just a sad story. Hopefully he´s got some good private life going on and some sort of a belief. Being excluded by the national team was inevitable and being dropped to the bench even though he looks like he is trying very hard...

I just feel for the fella.

Sorry, just read the post-ban on this.

Why feel for him? at the end of the day, he's the one getting 180 thousand per week, i'm sure that cheers him up A BIT.

that is one aspect. on the other hand his whole carreer on which he has to build his financial well being in the future is on the brink as well.

but yes, you have a point, he shouldn´t be too worried about his pay packet.

I agree.

He's still a footballer -_-

Could of fooled me.

Still a human being and not a dog....

Yes, because dogs get payed 180 thousand a week.

Whatever we feel about his performance and such it's incredibly harsh to suggest he's unphased by any of it simply because of the amount of money he makes. He obviously recognises he's having a torrid time of it doing the job that he's being paid for, like Zolayes said, he's still human and money doesn't necessarily mean every footballer doesn't have a right to be unhappy. Or that we should lack empathy.
